Es verdad que debemos guardar las profecías y todo lo que dice Su Palabra como aprendimos hoy, pero al cometer errores no nos alejemos de nuestro Señor, al contrario, vengamos con humildad de corazón, pidamos perdón por nuestros pecados, reparemos el daño (por ejemplo si lastimamos a otra persona pidamos perdón, o si no pidámosle al Señor que nos ayude y nos de la fortaleza para no volver a caer en esa tentación, etc) y sigamos adelante en nuestra relación con nuestra Amada y Santa Trinidad, tal como lo dice 1 Juan 1:9 (NTV): “pero si confesamos nuestros pecados a Dios, él es fiel y justo para perdonarnos nuestros pecados y limpiarnos de toda maldad”. Perseveremos en nuestras relaciones con Dios, en aprender de Su Palabra, en ser sus embajadores y que más personas lo conozcan a través de nosotros, en oración, entre otros, porque el día de la segunda venida se acerca, y debemos estar listos para recibir a Nuestro Señor, Nuestro Salvador, Nuestro Rey, Nuestro Fiel Amigo, y Nuestro Pastor: Nuestro Amado Señor Jesús.

Si leemos con atención, descubriremos que también hay siete bendiciones que Dios quiere darnos. Hay una bendición o bienaventuranza para: 1. El que lee. 2. Los que oyen las palabras de esta profecía, y guardan las cosas en ella escritas. 3. El que vela. 4. Los que son llamados a la cena de las bodas del Cordero. 5. Psalm 23 is my favorite, there is so much packed into a little 6 verse psalm. I remember it from when I went to Sunday school at the little Methodist Church on the hill in old Bisbee. And through the years it has always stuck with me, brought me comfort and peace. I love that Jesus is my shepherd! When I tried to shepherd my own life I was on the struggle bus more often than not. Today’s Reflection: Anxious? Psalm 139:23 NIV Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. God cares everything about us. God truly cares even in our anxious thoughts, both little cares and in our extreme distress. We fear failures and failing to do. We fear about future. These lead to anxiety. Anxiety that robs us the joy of living. So you are ignorant of the very thing you worship-and this is what I am going to proclaim to you. The ancient Athens are full of educated, scholars, philosophers and wise people. Paul explained the one true God to these men. They were in general, very religious yet they don’t know God. Christianity is well known today. However, to most people, God is still unknown. As Christians, we need to proclaim who HE is to this world and make clear what HE has done for everyone through his Son, Christ Jesus. Today’s Reflection: A New skin and a Pliable heart! Luke 5:36-39 NIV He told them this parable: “No one tears a piece out of a new garment to patch an old one. Otherwise, they will have torn the new garment, and the patch from the new will not match the old. [37] And no one pours new wine into old wineskins. Otherwise, the new wine will burst the skins; the wine will run out and the wineskins will be ruined. [38] No, new wine must be poured into new wineskins. [39] And no one after drinking old wine wants the new, for they say, ‘The old is better.’” Following Jesus requires us to shed away our old skin. So exfoliate and wear a new garment of faith. Following the Spiritual Disciplines of Jesus will tear our old skin apart. Meaning it requires us to shed away our old mindset, old religious beliefs, rules, legalism and traditions. Old traditional faith cannot contain Jesus. Thus, we need to wear a flexible new self when accepting Jesus. Being born again in the Spirit and Truth is like pouring a new wine into us. New wine expands fast and if it is poured into an old wine-skin, it will just burst and spill the new wine. Thus, it requires a new pliable wine-skin. Similarly, we need to have a pliable and a teachable heart to receive the uncontainable love of Jesus and His ways. Today’s Reflection: February - A Month full of love Romans 12:9-13 NIV Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. [10] Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. [11] Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. [12] Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. [13] Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality. I remember my mom and dad teaching me how to be courteous and be kind to others during my formative years. As I grow older, I developed to feel compassion when I hear others’ needs. God calls us in these passages to show genuine love that goes far beyond politeness. Genuine love requires real intention and effort. It means helping others become better people and get them better and better day by day. It is not just lending money when someone needs financial help but It requires our time, money, and personal involvement. No one has the capacity to express love to a whole community, but the body of Christ does. Look for people who need your love, and look for ways you and your fellow believers can love your community like Christ Jesus. Today’s Reflection: Grow! 2 Corinthians 9:10-11 NIV Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. [11] You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God. God is our Jehovah Jireh! He is the one who enriched us. He has given us resources to use and invest for him. Paul in these Bible passages, uses the illustration of seed to explain that these resources God should not be hidden, foolishly consumed, mismanaged or just simply thrown away. Instead, they should be cultivated in order to produce more crops. When we invest what God has given us in his work, he will provide us with even more to give in his service. Invest more of your time to share the Bible. Reach out there. Pray for others. Invite them to church and share the spiritual resources which God has given you. Disciple them so that the Kingdom of God will further grow in you. Let the kingdom of God advance through the resources which God already has given you! Today’s Reflection: Debt to pay. Romans 13:8-10 NIV Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law. [9] The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not covet,” and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” [10] Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law. Paying a debt is an obligation. An obligation to plan how to repay your neighbour and pay what is owed and let no debt remain outstanding. Loving your neighbour is also an obligation. Why is love for others an obligation? We are permanently in debt to Christ because of the costly love and grace he has poured out on us. Giving the same kind of love to others and neighbours is the only way we can even begin to repay this debt. The Agape love of Christ will always be infinitely greater than ours, we will always have the obligation to keep giving that love to others the best we can. Today’s reflection: Examine your attitudes and actions toward other people. James 4:11 NIV Brothers and sisters, do not slander one another. Anyone who speaks against a brother or sister or judges them speaks against the law and judges it. When you judge the law, you are not keeping it, but sitting in judgment on it. In the book of Matthew, chapter 22:37-40, Jesus summarized the law as loving God and neighbour. In the book of Romans, Paul said that love demonstrated toward a neighbor would fully follow God’s law (Romans 13:6-10). Whenever we fail to love others and instead constantly judge them, we are actually breaking God’s law. In other words, build people up not tear them down. Before you criticize someone, remember God’s law of love. Say positive and encouraging words. There are times when we have to speak a difficult truth. However, do it constructively and respectfully.
