Ingredients 2 oz Chila 'Orchata Cinnamon Cream Rum 2 oz King Cake Vodka 1/2 oz Amaretto Ice Cinnamon for garnish Yellow green and purple sugar, for rimming glass Small cube of King Cake for garnish Instructions Rim a chilled martini glass with colored sugar. I dip in vodka then dip in the three different colored sugars. To make the sugar just add 1-2 drops of food coloring to a 3 separate tbsps of sugar and stir until combined. In a cocktail shaker, add a small amount of crushed ice (3-4 pieces), 2 ounces of vanilla vodka, 2 ounces of cake flavored vodka, 1 ounce of cinnamon schnapps, and 6 ounces of concord grape juice. KING CAKE COCKTAIL Nothing says Mardi Gras like King Cake and this martini has a secret ingredient that is key to getting the flavors right. It’s an extra step, but worth it, so trust me on this one. I’ll list other uses below. 1 oz Frangelico hazelnut liqueur 1 oz Drillaud white Creme de cocoa 1 oz Gallant vodka 1 oz cinnamon syrup* .5 oz Kahlua coffee liqueur Club soda to top off white frosting & colored sugars to prep glass *First make cinnamon syrup. Mix 1 cup water, 1 cup brown sugar, & 1 tsp cinnamon in a saucepan and boil for 5 minutes. Let cool and add 1 tsp vanilla. Next, prepare your martini glass. I diluted frosting with a little water, spread it on a plate, dipped my glass in, and dusted with purple, green, & yellow Wilton sugar sprinkles. Now, for the cocktail: Put liqueurs, syrup, & vodka in a shaker full of ice and shake for 30 seconds. Pour into prepared glass. Top with club soda. *The cinnamon syrup is also wonderful in coffee and hot chocolate, on French toast, pancakes, apple pie, ice cream, and cheesecake. So many uses and only takes 5 minutes! Totally worth the extra step. I tried both cinnamon vodka and liqueur and this syrup makes it taste like the cinnamon in an actual King Cake - not cinnamon flavored candy.
