SWIPE for 5 TIPS TO HACK YOUR PAYCHECK AND TRAVEL MORE✨ My human hasn’t always done this but once she learned how to, she never went back. This may seem complicated at first, but with a growth mindset you can learn too and get your travel fund going, even if you only add $20/paycheck. Remember there are many ways to travel around. It doesn’t have to be expensive. We love Couchsurfing and doing work exchanges and car sharing apps like BlaBlaCar and now there’s housesitting too! 🏡 My human learned to be intentional with how she spends her paycheck and always add to a travel fund💰 So the next time you go to the store, ask yourself “Do I want this or do I need this?” If you want it ask, “Do I want this more than I want to travel?” Only YOU know the answer to that friends✨ Hope this helps! Let us know what else you’d like to learn from us below. Gracias to everyone who votes in our stories! 🤗 Your teddy bear travel guide, Robbie Bobbie 🧸 “The Bicultural Bear Traveling Everywhere” 🇲🇽🇺🇸 Follow @robbiebobbie_travels for more budget travel tips and adventures 🗺️ . . . . #budgettravel #travelmore #howtotravel #traveltips #traveltipsandtricks #traveltips101 #budgettraveler #beintentional #thegirlwiththeteddybear #lachicadelosito #kidatheart #teddybear #travelguide #adventuretravel #couchsurfing #blablacar #workaway #responsibletravel #traveldeeper #exploremore #travelandlearn #travelandadventure

PHOTO DUMP! 🏞️ On AllTrails this is the “Condor Gulch Trail to High Peaks Trail Loop” It says difficult and on average 3h20m to complete… Took us about 9 hours 🤪 but we did it!🐢 If you go on a weekend and want the closer parking lot…get there before 8:30!🥱 Entrance is $30 per car 🚙 (or buy a National Park Pass for $80 and go all year long to all the National Parks!) 🏞️ We saw a rattlesnake, blue jays, turkey vultures, lizards, quails…but no condors 🙃 Definitely check out the caves! Take a headlamp!🔦 And always, LEAVE NO TRACE 🚮 (Take your apple cores and banana peels back with you please!) Have fun! 3 MUST-HAVE ITEMS FOR CAMPING 🏕️ 1️⃣Tent: This is essential for providing shelter from the elements. Choose a tent that is the right size for your group and consider the weather conditions you’ll be facing. 2️⃣Sleeping bag: A good sleeping bag will keep you warm and comfortable at night. Choose one with a temperature rating that is appropriate for the climate you’ll be camping in. 3️⃣Sleeping pad: A sleeping pad will insulate you from the cold ground and provide some cushioning. 📖STORYTIME: When my human started camping, she didn’t have a sleeping pad because she didn’t even know that was a thing! Once when camping on a beach in Tulum, all we had was her tent and sleeping bag and even though it was hot and humid, we were sooooo cold because the ground was freezing!🥶 She hardly slept and after talking to friends, she learned sleeping pads exist and are AMAZING!🤩 If you choose an inflatable one, don’t blow it up too much otherwise it’ll be like sleeping on a rock 🪨 In the beginning she also didn’t have a pillow and would use her packing cubes full of clothes or roll up a jacket. Slowly, over the years, we’ve been accumulating more things for camping, but the best 3 things for a good night sleep outdoors are simply: a good tent, a good sleeping bag, and a good sleeping pad. Not all equipment is created equal so do your research if you’re just getting started 😊 Have fun out there! 5 ways to travel without leaving home 🏡 Because sometimes you just wanna be home in your bed and use your own shower but your mind is craving something new 🙃 Here are the 3 we do almost daily for that instant adventure to someplace else! 1. Learn a new language 🗣️ (we’re learning German but very now and again do some French and Portuguese on Duolingo) 2. Read a book about travel 📖 (Or listen to audiobooks! We’ve traveled to many more countries just by reading fiction books that take place in other countries) 3. Color a travel coloring page 🖍️ (Travel with your imagination! We have a NEW coloring page out and it’s FREE at the l!nk in bi0) What’s your favorite way to travel from home? PUPUSAS vs TORTILLAS IN EL SALVADOR 🇸🇻 Pupusas are a favorite food in El Salvador and you can find them in almost every corner. They’re typically made of corn flour and stuffed with cheese mixed with other ingredients. The traditional one is cheese, refried beans and chicharron (pork) We also tried one with loroco (a small, green unopened flower) They’re usually served with curtido (a tangy cabbage slaw) and a mild-spicy tomato salsa for dipping. Yum! 😋 Cooked correctly, THEY ARE DELICIOUS!🤤 We shared in our Stories a poll to vote if pic 3 was a pupusa or tortilla… and the only person who voted tortilla was a Salvadoran friend 😂 And this is why we LOVE traveling and learning about other cultures ❤️ We had NO idea El Salvador made thick corn tortillas or that a quesadilla there is actually a sweet, baked bread 🙃 [Note: a quesadilla in Mexico is a tortilla with melted cheese EXCEPT in Mexico City where you will have to order a quesadilla WITH cheese…if you want cheese] See? We learn so much together here!😜 ➡️Have you tried pupusas before? What’d you think?😃 Buen provecho!
