This is my second Vishu away from home. As I mentioned before, Vishu always brings a mix of emotions. One of the most cherished parts is Vishukani and Kaineettam. Today, I could only set up this kani in my hotel room and no kaineettam this year 😟 The sad part of Vishu is I miss my father a bit more today; he used to be his best and we celebrated Vishu in a grand way, and after that, none of the festivals were ever the same, and I never leave Amma alone for festivals.
