Day 11 of the QuiltCon countdown is the delightful @colettemoscrop I love Colette’s work! She creates Linen and cotton hand screen printed artisan textiles using rich colours and modern designs. Her textile collection is perfect for use in embroidery, slow stitching, quilting and crafting, All of Colette’s fabrics are designed and hand printed in her London studio using eco-friendly water based inks. I was at the hairdresser yesterday (thanks @hairbyjfkedinburgh !) and I thought I would try something a bit different for once. And now you can easily spot me at QuiltCon and say hello!! Day 10 of the QuiltCon countdown is William Morris prints 💙 I’ve had a longtime love affair with William Morris design and the arts and crafts movement 💙 Morris textiles is named after my maiden name and I often and understandably get asked if we’re relations. It’s unlikely as my grandad Morris was from Dublin and William was English. We do have a different William Morris in the family though! I love what @wmorrisandco @freespiritfabrics do with the archive of prints to bring them up to date while still staying classic. I have Morris prints in my home as wallpapers and one day plan to make ‘the’ Morris quilt for my bed!
