Happy Mother’s Day everyone! 🌸 It’s me Avery again! Seriously, how am I still on the market?! I’m a total love bug who’s all about making pals, whether they’re humans or furry friends! I’m a 6/7 month old border collie/lab mix weighing in at around 30 pounds, but I’ll probably tip the scales at about 45 pounds once I’m all grown up. Perfect size for adventures, right? My journey hasn’t been the easiest. I ended up in rescue after my family in Oklahoma hit hard times and couldn’t keep me. I was sadly found in a crate on the street, but thankfully fate brought me here to NH where I’m hoping to find my furever home! Right now, I’m bunking up with another dog and a cat in my foster home, and let me tell you, I’m the easiest roommate ever. I get along with everyone and am super submissive. But here’s the deal: I need to be in a home with another dog to show me the ropes and help me feel more comfortable in new situations. It’s a must for me! Now, about my skills – I’m sharp as a tack! Already got crate and house training down pat, and I’m a pro at sit and stay. Walks and hikes? Count me in! And did I mention I’m a foodie? That means I’ll ace those training classes, no doubt. Do you remember the names of the mice that were Cinderella’s sidekicks and trusted confidants? One was Jaq and one was Gus Gus. And would you look at that my name is Gus Gus and I am ready to be your side kick! I am an 8 year old poodle mix and I weigh 15 lbs. The recent tornados in the Midwest left me homeless with my family no where in sight. I was kept safe at the local shelter but when my family didn’t come for me I needed to be moved. Thank goodness for amazing foster families who come in and saved the day just like in the fairytales! When I tell you I am the most affectionate and loyal dog you will ever meet please listen! I am what they call a “total people’s dog” and I take my job as a side kick very seriously! I will follow you around making sure you are ok and making good decisions which includes giving me all the yummy treats! And at the end of the day when I’m off the clock I love to curl up on the couch and cuddle knowing that my humans are safe for another day because of me. I love people more than anything else in the whole wide world! Now don’t get me wrong, just because humans are my favorite doesn’t mean I don’t like animals. For the most part I like to chill with them but I do try and play every once in a while. It’s hard sometimes leaving side kick mode and let loose! Little FLUFF ball alert! This precious litter is a Malamute and Husky mix. These nuggets are 8 weeks old and are just 10 pounds! Full grown they will be about 60lbs. The 2 gorgeous males are Kenia and Nanook and the stunning female is River. Get ready for plenty of puppy kisses and endless fun with these guys! They are friendly and outgoing and will make great companions. From playfulness to cozy cuddles they will bring so much joy into your life! They are heavily socialized pups, as their foster mama has many dogs at her home. By nature their breed is intelligent and it shows! These fluffs are picking up quickly on potty training and learning new things with ease. This crew will need continued training, they thrive on being mentally and physically stimulated. Introducing the Ancient Cities litter, a group of the cutest, 10 week old cuddlebugs! Their mom, a husky mix, lived with a male Border Collie, so we think that he made be Dad. Both breeds thrive on mental and physical stimulation; so an active individual or family would be best for this crew! Among the litter are three gorgeous girls (Nineveh, Alexandria, Mari) and one handsome boy named Nerik. Mari and Nerik are a little shy at first and it will take them a few days before they will let their playful side make an appearance. In the beginning they may want to hide from their new family. They would do best with a family or individual that is ready to spend the time and attention these babies need to build up their confidence. Having an outgoing dog already in the home to show them the ropes would help these two come out of their shells. We promise the reward of seeing the curious and fun side of their personalities will be worth the extra effort! Nineveh and Alexandria are the 2 more outgoing of the group. Don’t worry though because with lots of love all of these babies will be covering their new families in slobbery kisses and bringing so much happiness with them. They currently weigh around 10 pounds or less and they are all expected to grow into medium-sized dogs, ranging between 40 and 50 pounds. They did have a rough start and that is apparent in the loss of fur you can see in their pictures. Our hearts break for these babies as they were dumped off. With no one to help them, they got covered in fleas and ticks. Thankfully, they were found and brought to one of our extremely caring rescue partners. She immediately got them the medical treatment they needed and has been loving on them ever since. They have really started to thrive! Their fur has already begun to regain its luster and the sad times for these pups are a thing of the past! I’m some type of mix, maybe an Aussie or Mountain Cur mix. Nobody really knows but I like to think I’m one of a kind! I may be shy at first but once I warm up to you, I’m all about the snuggles and affection. Meet the most adorable litter! Kodiak, River, Nanook, Yukon, Mishka, Polar, Denali & Kenai are precious 7 week old babies that will be looking for their furever homes very soon! We believe they are malamute, Australian shepherd and husky mixes! Currently they’re right around 10 pounds but full grown we expect them to be about 80 pounds! They’re going to be large doggos as adults! As you can tell they have very fluffy coats and a variety of colors! These 8 babies were part of a much bigger litter! There mom almost broke world record, she had 26 babies! She was a bigger gal that was around 80 pounds and a malamute mix. She was sadly found as a stray and never claimed. So we were able to get all of her babies into rescue and safe. They have such amazing temperaments! They’re incredibly sweet and love everyone they meet. Not only that but they’re funny and so fun to be around! They’ll shower you with puppy kisses and try and nibble your fingers to give them lovings or treats. These babes love food, soooo much! Food is the key to their hearts so we know they’ll be easy to train with the right adopters! We would love to see families adopt them who have experience with the breeds, a fenced yard would be an added bonus. Something we really are hoping for with these kids! All 8 of them have done amazing with other dogs, they’re playful and out going. They’ll happily have a fur sibling in their furever homes. We’re not sure about cats though as they have not been exposed to them since being with us. UPDATE Stella ADOPTED 🐾🥰 Stella is a 10 month old Yorkie/Aussie mix that was recently surrendered to our rescue here in NH. Her family could not handle her activity level and believed she needed much more then they could provide since one of them was also very sick. They did right by Stella and now we are looking for her furever home! She weighs 15 pounds and is basically full grown, she’s a small girl with so much love to give! We know she’s going to be very popular but Stella does need a specific home. A patient family that is understanding she will need a few days to decompress and learn to trust you and her new environment. She is really nervous at first meeting new people sometimes, so a slow and steady approach is best for her. Sadly she was under socialized so a home willing to show her that the world is okay would be amazing. Once this gal comes around she is a complete gem! She will shower you with kisses and all the love in the world. She attaches to her person and loves them unconditionally. Stella also would really thrive having a fenced yard. She likes to go to the bathroom off leash in a fenced area and she especially loves to do zoomies and run around to play. UPDATE Adam ADOPTED 🐾🥰 He is a 6 year old mini poodle weighing only 12 pounds. Despite his current need for a grooming session (bad hair day alert!), Adam’s sweetness shines through. Adam is a laid-back dude who enjoys the finer things in life, like belly rubs and leisurely walks in the park! Adam’s social skills are on point! He is a canine socialite who gets along with dogs of all shapes and sizes. Plus, his love for humans knows no end. He gets along with kids as well. His foster mom says he is so incredibly out going and sweet you can’t help but fall in love with him even if you’re not a small dog fan. UPDATE Wei Wei ADOPTED 🐾🥰 This adorable 3 month old 10ish pound golden retriever mix puppy is looking for her furever home. Full grown we expect her to be around 50-60 pounds. She gets her name from the person who saved her life. Luckily an awesome samaritan with this last name found her lying in a ditch, almost too far gone with an awful infection up and down her front leg. Meet the Phineas & Ferb litter! These 6 precious pups found themselves at a kill shelter down south at a very young age. Luckily our rescue partner was able to pull them all just in the nick of time! Before we could enter school we needed to have our physicals and the nice doctor said we were between 12-15 lbs. They say by the time we graduate our first year we should be about 60lbs. We know this is hard to believe, but our favorite subject in school is recess! We love playing with other dogs in our grade, chasing after the balls are so fun. UPDATE sibling duo ADOPTED 🐾🥰 We are Graysen and Gretta and we are 3 month old cur mixes. Currently we are 20 lbs so full grown we should be right around 60 lbs. Sable is a 4-5 month old mixed breed we believe to be heeler/lab mix, but truly we have no idea! She’s already around 35 pounds so full grown she’s going to be a large girl! UPDATE Bubbles ADOPTED 🐾🐶 I am a 12 week old retriever mix and I weigh 8 lbs, full grown I should be around 40 pounds or so! Did you notice my cool ears in my photos? They think I may be mixed with Maltese or Spaniel and that’s giving me some serious body to my ear hair! Rumor has it I’m the social butterfly at my foster home. Meet Millie!! She is a spayed female that we believe is a hound mix! She weighs around 80 pounds but is a little overweight, so she could afford to lose a few. UPDATE Janie and Woodrow ADOPTED 🐾🥰 and we are 11 month old English setters. Janie weighs 45lbs and Woodrow weighs 50lbs, we shouldn’t get much bigger than this! We were surrendered by a not so nice breeder so we have not had much socialization or training. But we both agree since we are still young we can change our fate and hopefully find a family willing to work with us! We just want to live the house pet life! Separate homes for each of us please! And even though we lived the breeder life so long we have quickly realized we love humans since being out! We didn’t know how awesome people were and we just want to meet everyone. You won’t have any issues bringing us around new people! We may want to give a bunch of kisses too, hopefully that’s ok! Since being in our foster home we have met so many awesome dogs too! UPDATE Archie ADOPTED 🐾🥰 This adorable 3 year old poodle is looking for his furever home here in New England. He is around 50 pounds and the sweetest little boy. He gives the most gentle little kisses and loves being pet. He is going to make an incredible companion for someone looking for a poodle that has such a gentle and sweet soul. Archie was given up by his breeder and we are grateful we are now able to find him a family that’ll love him unconditionally. He deserves that so much. UPDATE Smoky ADOPTED 🐾🥰 He is an 18 month old male. This guy weighs 40 pounds and we think he is an Aussie mix. He’s absolutely adorable and has such a gorgeous coat. Sweet as can be too! He’s going to make an incredible new family member and companion! Smoky has 2 sisters looking for homes as well. Sadly these 3 liter mates were brought to the vet to be euthanized because their owner had to move. The previous owners were not taking them and couldn’t find new homes for them. We feel so happy that the vet they were brought to recognized how amazing these pups are. The vet called our rescue partner to come get them. Thankfully she was able to and these 3 now have a second chance at life! The siblings all have so much in common but Smoky is a bit more confident than his sisters. He is less submissive than those two but he is not an alpha dog. He would do well alone or in a home with other dogs. He doesn’t mind cats so that’s a plus! He’s just ready to have a home or his own and experience life with his new family! Smoky will need help walking on a leash, he’s used to a fenced yard. Just like the girls in his family he picks up on things quickly. With a little bit of training this boy can be your daily walking or hiking buddy! Meet Igor & Ian! These two brothers are very special boys. We know they look nothing alike, but we promise they’re siblings. They’re both 1 year old and range in weight. Igor is 40 pounds roughly and Ian is around 60 pounds. Big difference and looks but they both have such a sweet and gentle souls. They’re listed as terrier mixes but we’re sure they both have quite the mix or breeds in them. These boys are special because they require a special home too! When our rescue partner originally got them they were both very young, only a few months old. Sadly, their past caused them to be extremely scared of the world, mainly humans. After months of working with both of them and building up their confidence and love towards humans they really are coming more & more out of their shells. They’re still shy dogs and most likely always will be but they bond very strongly to their humans once they build trust. They’re very sweet dogs and have never once shown any sign of aggression! They just need a patient and loving home. They do require a fenced yard due to their fearfulness at first. Both Igor and Ian are incredibly submissive and great with other dogs! Can you use a little mocha in your puppuccino?? Well pass that starbucks cup over! My name is Mocha and I am 18 months old and I weigh 25lbs! When I look in the mirror I see border collie mix which I think would make an excellent addition to any home and I hope you agree! And since I am not a puppy anymore I shouldn’t get any bigger than I am. Unfortunately, the start of my journey to finding a forever home was not the greatest. Someone decided instead of being a responsible pet owner that they would dump me while pregnant with my pups at a shelter. I was sad for a little bit at first but then I realized if they were willing to do that then it’s not a home I wanted to be in! UPDATE Asher ADOPTED 🐾🥰 He is a 1 year old terrier mix and weighs right around 20lbs. He is full grown at this age and he’s the most adorable boy! He is the most perfect size, he’s easily picked up and cuddled or ready to go on an adventure! We think he may have some dachshund in him, he has a bit of a long torso too! He has a gorgeous brindle coat and the sweetest most loving personality. He will just melt into your body to get all of the lovings, he really loves cuddling.
