This stunning lamp, model SP15, was designed by Gino Sarfatti for Arteluce in Italy in the 1950's/1960's. It is made out of polished chrome and has a very solid and easy construction by 'clicking' the fixture onto the mounting plate. This light works very well as either a wall or ceiling light. We have 10 of these lamps available, all in a very good condition with minor signs of age and use. Eight of the lamps are labelled with the early and original label of Arteluce at the back of the mounting plate, 1 has a partial label and another 1 does not carry a label. The early label makes them quite rare as we have only found this model with new labels. We have imported these lights from Italy where these were used on the sides of a large glass mirror. This beautiful adjustable rattan lounge chair, model 516a, was designed by Dirk van Sliedregt for Gebr. Jonkers Noordwolde in about 1952. This chair is the rattan version of model '514a' which does have a metal frame. The chair has the original label by 'Jonkers Meubel' ('Jonkers Furniture'). It consists out of 2 loose parts that are attached by a leather strap at the back. The leather strap allows the seating part to be repositioned into a more lounging position. The chair has been expertly checked and some smaller repairs have expertly been done at a few spots with new rattan. This chair is ready to be used for many years to come. Seat height: 20cm at the lowest part and 35 cm at the knee. This high quality rosewood sideboard from the G-series was designed by Rudolf Bernd Glatzel for Fristho Franeker in the 1960's. It rests on high metal feet which are connected with a stylish ply-rosewood 'crossed' compartment. The cabinet has 4 doors with 4 storage spaces behind. The previous owner had the drawers replaced by shelves. It has the Fristho label inside and is in a very good vintage condition, with a small veneer damage to the front of the top (see picture). The lamp has a chromed and white lacquered metal base and a white acrylic lampshade with a chromed ring. It gives a beautiful classy and warm light. The lamp has 4 E14 sockets; 1 right underneath the top shade and 3 on the side of the base, underneath the lower shade. This impressive sectional corner sofa was made by the famous Swiss company 'De Sede'. We have not been able to find much information but we believe it to be model DS94. A beautiful design made of high quality brown leather. It consists out of 4 elements that are all in a very good condition with some smaller signs of age and use. On some spots some abrasion is visible to the lower part at the back of the element and some other smaller signs of use might be there. The high quality leather and foam have preserved a very nice and soft condition. The overhang of just 15 cm above ground makes the sofa seem to float and gives it a less massive look as other designs might have. This 'Krenit' bowl was designed by mechanical engineer Herbert Krenchel and his good friend Torben Ørskov who put them in production in 1953. The bowl consist out of a millimetre-thick steel plate that was enamelled black on the outside with a glossy colour inside. They were made in nine different sizes; the smallest was about 10 cm and the largest about 30 cm. All were black outside, but in eight different colours on the inside. This particular bowl has a lime green inside and a diameter of 25 cm. It is in a very good condition, with only smaller signs of age and use.
