I learnt something today as I said goodbye to these lovely tulips, a kind gift from a good pal. After 2 weeks of cheer tulips wither & die, lose their beauty & fall apart. Then it occurred to me it didn’t matter as they were always going to temporary unlike the spirit in which they had been given..friendship. It’s one I value so much I know it will never fade or fall apart. Likewise the pretty bouquet in the second picture from a lady I have been lucky enough to call my good friend for 37yrs. 🌷 There are certain people in your life to which you just ‘connect’. These are the same people you might go months without seeing yet instantly pick up where you left off, or see every day but never tire of. These are the ones who you trust to tell you when you’re being an arse or if your new haircut honestly suits you. The ones you laugh loudly with or quietly shed a tear with. These are the friends that ‘get you’. EXHAUSTED! 😴 Quite a lot of you have been in touch asking about our wreath workshops which we took a break from last year because…well you know! This year has been crazy and we have been working every week on Weddings and Hotel contracts that we have decided to give our own workshops a miss as we just don’t have the time to plan and carry them out! We are going to be doing a couple of workshops across in Edinburgh at our friends new coffee shop @kates_edinburgh although spaces will be limited and details are still to be decided and announced, give them a follow to keep updated 👍🏻 Thank you to everyone that has shown interest and sorry to let you down, we will hopefully have the workflow balanced next year and be back to normal 🤗

After a long wait Bryony and Ryan got married yesterday at the stunning Balbirnie House Hotel. They chose a 4 tiered cake decorated with gorgeous fresh flowers supplied by Kaylie at Oor Fleurs. The flavours chosen were bottom tier vanilla sponge filled with a layer seedless raspberry jam and two layers of vanilla buttercream. The second tier was red sponge filled with three layers of white chocolate ganache buttercream. The third tier was a luxurious carrot cake filled with three layers of a cream cheese buttercream, the top tier was a fake polystyrene cake.
