This needed a permanent spot in my feed. It was another one of those last “firsts.” My youngest lost his very first tooth yesterday! And my mom heart felt it🥹 It took me back to a few years ago when my oldest lost her very first tooth and how exciting that was. Of course little Dom was super excited and proud but I was a little sad. These younger years just seem to speed up with each child and I find myself spending more time trying to slow them down. Maybe that’s the point of the fleeting feeling, to have us (parents) intentionally be present, soaking up all the little things, because the little things like the tooth fairy and the joy of toothless smiles, are short lived. #thesearethedays

For lunch, I enjoyed a chicken salad, with San Marzano tomatoes, baby cucumber, the last portion of my low syn coleslaw, and Butterhead lettuce. *Need to make more coleslaw asap! 😋 Dinner was a slam dunk, what’s-in-the-whoopsie-cabinet surprise, of sea bass, with green beans and wholewheat noodles. I seasoned the fish with Schwartz Moroccan seasoning, and added salt and pepper. It was very tasty, and bagging the bargain bass itself, might possibly have made my day. #itsthelittlethings The countdown is on!
