Lafayette High School in the early morning sun. Maybe not so early but on a Saturday this is early for me. If you see the movie Cabrini you'll see this magnificent building being portrayed as a hospital. In that scene you'll also see yours truly hobbling around on crutches. Buffalo has maintained enough of its classic architecture that it makes a nice backdrop for Hollywood period pieces such as Cabrini and The Natural. History is important and filmmakers need locations that preserve history in order to tell their stories in a way that makes you feel as though you're back in time. Photography captures history in a moment, also preserving it for the future. As a photographer, you're like a time traveler, showing the future a moment of the past.
