Either we get to eat some good wings, or at least we get to make fun of this name. Review as follows: Size: 10/10 Doug Fluties Texture: 6/10 Doug Fluties Sauce: 8.5/10 Doug Fluties Blue Cheese: 4/10 Doug Fluties Total: 7.13/10 Doug Fluties Like Big Daddy Beane drafting our boy Coleman, sometimes you just have high hopes. We would have placed “Kickin Chicken” in the 7th round for the name, and 3rd round for wings. Overall a decent showing. Their combine score on texture was hurt by the slight breading that basically means they cheated. The size however was like finding a 330lb lineman. Nearly perfect. Sauce was a classic. Enough butter and franks to make us happy. We just didn’t quite make it to Flavor Town with this stuff. Crank up some heat, and this sauce would be a first rounder. We’re sorry but the blue cheese was garbage. Maybe homemade, kinda funky, but not a single morsel of blue to be found. Gotta call the blue a bust on this one. Not bad, not amazing. Something to scratch the itch, and definitely better than most wing spots. So if you somehow find yourself in Troutdale, head over to their new food cart pod that is actually pretty damn cool.
