"My love of dance began at three years old at my first dance class. I began teaching dance at 16 years old, and I still teach all styles of dance including tap, jazz, ballet, pointe, hip hop, modern, lyrical, and even the Hokey Pokey to my 21-month-old son! My interest in Pure Barre began in January of 2014. I immediately found the technique impressive and was totally hooked on the physical and emotional benefit of the work out. Pure Barre brings tremendous satisfaction and energy to my daily life while creating new and long lasting friendships. Since 2017, I have assisted the training team as a Teacher Evaluation Specialist. In 2019, I became Lead Teacher at Pure Barre Lynnfield, and in September 2023, owner Liz Roberts promoted me to Head Lead Teacher of her 12 Red Bird Fitness Pure Barre studios in the MA/CT area. I find it extremely rewarding to guide, challenge, and assist the team of talented and dedicated teachers at the 12 studios and watch them grow! I love being able to share Pure Barre with my community, and my favorite part is the empowerment it gives both the clients and the teachers! "My love for dance and my background in exercise science led me to the doors of Pure Barre in 2014. With my new exercise routine, I quickly fell in love with Pure Barre and became a teacher at Lynnfield in October 2014 and I also felt motivated to go back to school for my degree as a Physical Therapy Assistant. I always knew that I wanted to pursue both work in the fitness industry and PT. In 2018, I started working as a Teacher Evaluation Specialist on the Training Team. I enjoy coaching new teachers and helping teachers succeed with more training. After moving to Newbury, I also started teaching at Newburyport in August of 2023. In January 2024 I started as the Lead Teacher at Newburyport. With over 9 years of teaching, I feel so proud to be part of the Pure Barre journey. A fun fact is that I have two little boys and one of the hardest and proudest moments I have had this past year is pumping and donating breast milk to babies in the NICU."
