Proud of these two, had to step into a bigger class so Paris could jump in his classes. Took them a bit of time to find their feet round a bigger height but they tried hard and learnt heaps along the way. Munch 🚀 What an improvement this horse has made this year. Stepped up easy to 1.40 and feels incredible. I’m lucky enough that all my horses go on the @fmbstherapysystems rug everyday. They always go on the rug before jumping and If they jump in the afternoon they will go on it for an hour in the morning as well. The difference in the horses and the way they feel when warming up proves to me how much they benefit from the effects of the rug warming up their muscles. Such a great two weeks away in Belgium and France. My first time back to those shows since brexit/covid. All the horses jumped fantastic and jumped some lovely clears. Timmy got a couple of placings here and there and lots of clears in the 1.25/1.30 1*, Munch jumped clear in the 1.35’s and stepped up to his first 1.40’s, suddenly found a new gear and feels incredible, it does involve some excitable fly bucking too 🤩 Flo was a bit sharp but jumped some good learning rounds at Sentower, bar the part where I landed on my butt! Paris had some easy rounds at Sentower then stepped up at Canteleu to jump the 3* Grand Prix which was amazing, 8 faults but he found it easy and felt unbelievable round a tough course with only 4 clears. Still blows my brain to say I’ve jumped another 1.50 on him! He really is something special. A huge thanks to @williamwhitaker89 as always for all the help and training, I’m jumping and riding round tracks I never dreamed of 🤩 and hopefully it’s just the start. The rest of the gang jumping at @equestrianatbolesworth last week. So lucky to have such a lovely bunch of horses, they really are fantastic. Timmy had a good go in the 1.25 classes, finishing with a double clear and lower placing in a big class. Paris clear in the 1.40 on the first day just missing out on qualifying then unlucky 4f on the second day so no GP this time. Flo jumped some awesome rounds in the 1.15 day 1 and 2 then nipped round the 1.05 so we could head home on Saturday night. She’s definitely making up for all the times I’ve landed on my butt!!! Absolutely over the moon with today. Jumped my first ever 1.50, something I never ever dreamed would be possible. Paris was phenomenal, jumped the most beautiful round. I didn’t give him a good enough ride to fence one so we had it down which was a bummer but he jumped the rest of it absolutely foot perfect. I’m so thrilled, it was crazy to be jumping such huge fences but I loved it. He even qualified for the GP but we’ve already jumped 3 times, what an amazing little horse 🥰🥰🥰 big shout out to @williamwhitaker89 for all the help and confidence.
