I enjoyed myself thoroughly at the first annual @clarkpud Pollinator Festival yesterday. The weather was perfect and sunny 🌞. They had garden tours of their newly planted 💧 Rain Garden, 🦋 🐝 Pollinator Garden, and Meadow that they planted under their large solar panel arrays. They also had speakers Steve Clark which spoke on native bees and Doug Tallamy which spoke on backyard conservation that My husband, Brian, and I listened to. A large amount of pollinator allies and vendors were also there giving information and swag. I brought my pollinator tote bag from @wendybarnesdesign to put stuff in that I got. Michael O’Loughlin, Clark Public Utilities' environmental sustainability manager, did a fantastic job with the gardens and the whole festival. I am looking forward to going again next year.
