RAINING VICTORY Sometimes we can smell rain before we see it or find a residual rainbow. THIS is one of those times. We have a God, and HE is winning. There is a scent of victory in the air. But we shouldn’t be surprised. He promised to give “us the victory [making us conquerors] through our Lord Jesus Christ,” victory because of Who God is and we’re with Him (I Cor. 15:57). Victory’s His gift to us. Consider the Jews entering to the Promised Land, going through testing and failure, humbled into realizing “man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the Lord” (Deut. 8:3). Their forty-year experience taught dependence on God. NOW they were practicing dependence on God as they entered their promise, equipped with giants with a reputation: “Who can stand before the descendants of Anak?” (Deut. 9: 1-2). But there was an entry procedure: “understand today that the Lord your God is He who goes before you as a consuming fire. He will destroy them and bring them down before you; so you shall drive them out and destroy them quickly as the Lord has said to you” (Deut. 9:3). Consuming Fire Himself went in first, the Israelites following the path He’d cleared, finishing off the task. They were privileged to co-labor with Him. What an adventure! We’re made for this lifestyle: God “always leads us in triumph in Christ, and manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place” (2 Cor. 2:14). As we follow our God, confidently stepping into His Victory Trail, we leave a sweet aroma of Who He IS behind us. The smell of His victory lingering in every place as we travel behind Him . So, today step into our adventure. Keep our eyes on our victorious God Whose consuming fire precedes us. And smile. There’s victory in here somewhere. We can smell it: “I will send victory from the sky like rain; the earth will open to receive it and will blossom with freedom and justice. I, the Lord, will make this happen” (Isa. 45:8).

Stage de jjb et nogi avec @mestreazulbjj hier soir ! Nous nous sommes rencontré par hasard il y a 7 où 8 ans à un moment où il était en transit sur Paris pour aller combattre je ne sais plus où . Il cherchait un club pour pouvoir tourner et il s’est retrouvé en plein après midi au @district.trainingzone avec 2 autres brésiliens ,je me souviens de ce jour comme ci c’était hier J’était posé avec Kevin au club ,en pleine digestion ,ils nous ont proposés de tourner tranquille ,nous avons fait une guerre nucléaire et après on est devenu copain ! Depuis nous sommes restés connectés ,c’est un mec o top et un compétiteur hors paire ,il combat chaque week-end ! Il est premier au classement sur 2 fédération au Brésil et c’est pour nous un honneur de le voir transmettre et partager son expérience aux élèves du club .
