So we attempted to go camping this past weekend. And of course, it was cold and rainy the entire time! Still though, D was a champ and we made it up until our tent flooded and we had to call it. Repost: 7 years ago today I completed my Scout Leader training with the Boy Scouts of America. What an incredible journey its been. Ive been to the top of a mountain, touched the bottom of the ocean, hiked hundreds of miles and spent over 170 nights outside since that weekend. It is my privilege to be a Scout Leader and I am thankful to all of the volunteers and family who have invested in and sharpened me. Im also thankful for all of the youth who have challenged me to live my best life and given me a reason to try new things!
