🏮 #Sensoji Temple in #Asakusa district is the oldest and most famous temple in Tokyo with a history going back 1400 years 😱 🗾 The legend goes that two brothers who went fishing in the Sumida River caught in their fishing nets a statue of the Kannon Boddhisatva. 嗨!大家好! 你們會因為抽到不好的籤而影響心情嗎? 哈哈哈!我在淺草寺抽了個”凶”~😆 我以前也蠻愛求籤的， 有時為了”感覺上”更精準，還會很耗時。 但現在也不再求籤，也不見廟就拜， 這次純屬觀光客行為， 而且抽到凶籤時竟然覺得還不錯! 因為我認為它有提醒作用， 讓人能多加審視自己， 本來是想帶回家作紀念的。 但還是按照寺內的建議把凶籤綁起來。 籤詩的背面也寫了， 即使抽到大吉的籤詩，卻有粗心大意或傲慢等態度，也會有轉為兇的情況，而以謙虛的行為、柔和的態度和人相處，就無畏抽到兇籤，抱持忍耐且努力的態度，誠實的過生活，凶也會轉為吉。☺️ 可能人性就是容易自大和得意。🤔 讓我想起一個故事，羅馬帝國時的一位皇帝馬可·奧理略(Marcus Aurelius)。傳說中他僱用了一名僕人跟隨他行走在帝國的街道上，每當一個公民跪下並發出讚美之詞時，僕人就必須在他耳邊低聲說： 「你只是一個人，你只是一個人。」以使他保持謙虛。 現在想想， 真應該把那張凶籤帶回家， 讓它隨時在我耳邊低聲說: 「你只是一個屁，你只是一個屁。」💨🤪☯️ (下回揭曉這趟東京行的真正目的) Hello, guys! I got a “bad” at Sensoji Temple~😆 I love to ask fortune sticks in temple before, sometimes I even spent lot of time for more “precision”. But now i’m no longer asking fortune sticks, and praying when see a temple. It was purely a tourist act this time, and actually I felt pretty good when I got the “bad”, because I can think it as a reminder to self-check, I was going to take it home as a souvenir, but I still followed the advice and tied it up. The back of the paper say that even if get the lucky fortune stick, but you are careless or have an arrogant attitude, it may turn into bad luck. If you behave modestly and have a gentle attitude when dealing with others, you will not be afraid of getting a bad luck fortune stick, Live honestly with patience and hard work, and bad things will turn into good things.☺️ Maybe human nature is easily to be arrogant and complacent.🤔 Reminds me of a story, Marcus Aurelius, an emperor of the Roman Empire. As the legend goes, he hired a servant to follow him as he walked the empire’s streets. Every time a citizen bowed to his or her knee and called out some word of praise, the servant has to whisper in his ear, “You’re just a man. You’re just a man.” To keep him humble. In hindsight, I should take that bad fortune poem to home.
