Underneath all the wanting and grasping, underneath the need to understand is what we have called “the body of fear.” At the root of suffering is a small heart, frightened to be here, afraid to trust the river of change, to let go in this changing world. This small unopened heart grasps and needs and struggles to control what is unpredictable and unpossessable. But we can never know what will happen. With wisdom we allow this not knowing to become a form of trust. Wisdom is not information, but an abiding presence, an intuitive, sensing opening of the body and heart. 📍 Boudhanath Stupa, Kathmandu - - - Boudhanath also called Boudha is a stupa in Kathmandu, Nepal. Boudha stupa is semicircle shaped and contains the relics and remains of Buddha. The stupa’s massive mandala makes it one of the largest spherical stupas in the world. Boudha Stupa was listed in world heritage list by UNESCO in 1979 and it is one of the most popular tourist sites in Kathmandu. The stupa dates from 600AD and was built by a Tibetan king. The stupa is a historical pilgrimage site for all the Buddhists around the world. The stupa was built using many kilograms of gold for decoration. The giant Boudhanath stupa is a gateway to heaven serving as a horizon between the earth and sky. The base of the stupa structure consists of three large platforms decreasing in size. These platforms symbolizes the sky, whereas the circular vase supporting the semi-sphere signifies water. The eyes of Buddha painted on the stupa are diversely described as inscrutable, impassive, empathetic and shrewd. The five most promising elements representing Buddha i.e. earth, air, water, fire and space are comprised in the Stupa architecture. Boudha is an awe-inspiring and spiritual space and also one of the holiest Buddhist pilgrimage sites in Kathmandu, Nepal. During the full moon day, monks are indulged in prayers, singing songs and all Buddhists come to the place as a part of their holy visit. As a daily ritual, many people walk three or more times around the stupa while repeating the mantra ‘Om Mani Padme Hum’ in a “kora”. Prayer flags that are tied to the stupa flutter in the wind, carrying mantras and prayers towards the heaven. Tak jsem si to tu trochu prochodil a dobrý, je to ta Asie co mam rád :P ale je na tom tady vidět, že se sem teprve začínaji nalejvat peníze, z těch 7 zemí, co jsem tu projel, je Kambodža znatelně nejslabší... spousta věcí tu je teprve rozestavěná, nebo pořád prázdná, půlka chrámů je zavřená a jídlo je tak cca 2x dražší než třeba v Thajsku... ความยิ่งใหญ่ของปราสาทนครวัด (Angkor Wat, Cambodia) มีดีถึงขนาดที่พระบาทสมเด็จพระจอมเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว รัชกาลที่ 4 เคยมีพระราชดำริให้ย้ายปราสาทหินจากเมืองเสียมราฐ (เสียมเรียบ)มาตั้งให้คนไทยในสยามได้ดู หนึ่งในนั้นคือ ปราสาทนครวัด เนื่องด้วยในสมัยนั้น เมืองเสียมราฐยังตกเป็นประเทศราชของไทย และเป็นเมืองที่มีปราสาทหินตั้งอยู่มากมาย ปราสาทนครวัดนี้จึงเป็นเป้าหมายหลักที่รัชกาลที่4 ต้องการให้ย้ายมาที่ไทย แต่เมื่อขุนนางไปถึง เห็นความยิ่งใหญ่ของปราสาทนครวัด จึงจำเป็นต้องกราบทูลว่า ปราสาทนี้ใหญ่เกินกว่าจะรื้อเอาเข้ามาที่ไทยได้ รัชกาลที่4 จึงเปลี่ยนให้ถ่ายเป็นแบบจำลอง โดยโปรดฯให้พระยาสามภพพ่าย ออกไปถ่ายแบบปราสาทนครวัดมาสร้างจำลองไว้ที่วัดพระศรีรัตนศาสดาราม(วัดพระแก้ว) พระยาสามภพพ่ายใช้เวลาประมาณ 5 เดือน ถ่ายรูปแบบ พร้อมทั้งเขียนรูปแบบขององค์ปราสาทและพระระเบียง นำเข้ามาถวายให้ทอดพระเนตร เมื่อวันที่ 11 มิ.ย. 2410 แบบที่พระยาสามภพพ่ายนำมาถวายนั้นมีความละเอียดลออมาก เพราะได้กล่าวถึงแทบทุกจุดของปราสาท ซึ่งในสมัยนั้นวิวัฒนาการของการถ่ายแบบเขียนภาพยังไม่ทันสมัย การที่พระยาสามภพพ่ายได้บรรยายออกมา นับว่าเป็นเรื่องที่ใช้ความสามารถอย่างยิ่ง จึงทำให้เราได้เห็นนครวัดจำลองที่วัดพระแก้วมาจนถึงทุกวันนี้ ใครที่ได้เห็นปราสาทนครวัดองค์จริง และเห็นแบบจำลองนครวัดที่วัดพระแก้วแล้ว เรียกได้ว่า ต้องทึ่งในความสามารถของคนในอดีตจริงๆครับ 📸 April 2024 ขอบคุณข้อมูลจาก Posttoday โดย...ส.สต https://www.posttoday.com/lifestyle/380997 และ ศิลปวัฒนธรรม https://www.silpa-mag.com/history/article_8260 #คนเที่ยววัด #วัด #นครวัด #temple #buddha #wonderful_places #amazingthailand #amazingworld #wonderfulworld #beautifuldestinations #explorethailand #discovertheworld #ท่องเที่ยว #travelphotography #travelgram #thailandinstagram #buddhism #buddhist #konteawwat #ทำบุญ #กัมพูชา #combodia #ankor #ankorwat #lovetravel
