My thoughts on Clionadh, several months on ~ It’s a funny coincidence that I was going to post this at the same time Clionadh launched their giveaway. So this is my contribution to #SGCAnniversary5 😊 despite this being my entry to the competition I’m going to keep my opinions as unbiased! I shared some initial thoughts and comments in my first swatch photo - see my Clionadh story highlight. Now I have been using these shadows for a few months, I can share some additional observations. - I have been tracking my shimmer usage since February 1, and Baroque is by far my most used shimmer shadow out of ALL my singles. I’m in love with it! - As a brand, Clionadh interact with my posts and respond to my comments under their posts. I can’t stress enough how much that means to me as a small creator. Not only does it lead to more followers, but I’m so tired of brands not engaging with us. I’ve previously created content that people have told me has influenced their purchasing decisions, and when I told the brand (not Clionadh but another brand) they couldn’t have cared less about sending me PR or giving me a discount code. They didn’t even respond to my email until I chased them. A reshare from a brand takes no time so it’s great to see Clionadh do it. - I have not experienced any creasing or fading with any of my shadows. They are very dependable. Big plus. - I have the “old” imprint style and because so much of the shadow is raised above the pan, I do find it easy to lose shadow from picking it up and touching the shadow rather than the side of the pan. I have just made a new order and am intrigued to see what the new imprint style is like in practice. - One change I would really like to see is Clionadh implementing preorders. I (and I know many others, since pre orders are well established in the indie makeup sphere) would be more than happy to preorder an item and wait patiently for it. It can be frustrating to not have full consumer choice, particularly during a sale period. What are some of your thoughts and feelings about the brand? 😊 Caption is too long. I also just ordered Ferric and I can't wait! Obviously these are slightly textured but that assists in the sparkle and shift; I don't find them too textured, and I also don't have an issue with creasing! My favorite is probably Oxidize but they're all extraordinarily beautiful 🥰 . A light, warm tan base that shifts warm gold-lime-turquoise. ANNEAL - Jewelled Multichrome. Shifts emerald-turquoise-blue-indigo-violet. MOSAIC - Hybrid Multichrome. Has a brown base with small glitter particles that shift pink-orange-gold-lime. REGAL - Glitter Vibrant Multichrome. Has an indigo base with large glitter particles that shift gold-lime-turquoise. Love note to Mural 💌 I started my year with this multichrome and I've been having a quiet little love affair with it for months now - peep my little daily palette I put together in February, the different looks that are all united by the intense glow and sparkle from it. If I'm going out and I want to feel fancy without overdoing it with colour or much blending at all, Mural is the answer. Oh, and @lethalcosmetics Wilted or Unearthed pair beautifully with it. Have you ever noticed that some of your least favourite ingredients make up your favourite dishes? No? Just me? Like shrimp paste and fish sauce in curries and soups when I absolutely hate fishy flavours. Well that’s what this look is to me. I really dislike warm browns, I prefer cool toned greens too but I really love how this turned out. I made a good dish 😁😁 I started this as an @clionadhcosmetics appreciation/giveaway post. #sgcanniversary5 I’ve been reaching for Myrrh so often since I got it and it’s in the inner corner here going into Radiance. But I started a look that would championing it and it just wasn’t what I wanted- I think I could have saved it. But I wanted to start over and am so happy I did. I'm on my last sequence of my vet tech program, I'm almost done. My journey has been a long one. My dream was to become a vet, I went to ASU and got a bachelor's in pre veterinary medicine, I applied to vet schools twice and was denied both times. I decided then to become a tech to still be in the field and maybe later try again for vet school. Also I wanted to showcase a brand that I love, Clionadh. My entry to the #SGCAnniversary5 Was it a good wing day? Nope, my wing on the both eyes aren’t twins, not even siblings 😂 But it didn’t take anything away from the beauty of @clionadhcosmetics „Goblet“, on of the shades from the newest expansion😍 What makes this shade so unique is the pink base of this gold😍 It also has a really visible shift into green😍 I‘ve compared it to „Majesty“ (the second of the swatches) and „Ochre“ on the bottom of the swatches💛💛💛Which one do you like the most?🥰
