This can make it challenging to get all of your top choices. But, don't let this get you down. You can still have an AMAZING trip even if you aren't able to dine at all of the table service restaurants on your wish list. There are also SO many great quick service options to choose from that aren't just chicken fingers, hot dogs, and fries! And...you don't need reservations for them! Some of my top quick service picks: ✨ Animal Kingdom: Satu'li Canteen (Create Your Own Bowls with your choice of protein, base, and sauce) ✨ Epcot: Yorkshire Country Fish Shop (Fish and Chips) ✨ Hollywood Studios: Ronto Roasters (Ronto Wrap) ✨ Magic Kingdom: Sleepy Hollow (Giant Mickey Waffle) I love to choose a couple of table service restaurants to enjoy during my trips and grab quick service the rest of the time. The Festival of Fantasy Parade returns today! Magic Kingdom comes alive with music and dancing and you can see some of your favorite Disney characters in this festival of fun! The parade is running at 11:30 am and 2:30 pm for the next few days. On March 13th times will move to 12:00 pm and 3:00 pm. If you were in Animal Kingdom today, where would you be eating lunch? Satu'li Canteen would be my top choice. My favorite dish is the Chopped Wood-Grilled Chicken Bowl served with red and sweet potato hash, topped with the creamy herb dressing. The Cheeseburger Steamed Pods are great for kids...or adults too! I finish it off with Blueberry Cream Cheese Mousse for dessert. I also make a stop by Pongu Pongu to grab my favorite drink the Night Blossom.

Happy first day of winter! ☃️ It's the shortest day of the year and one of the best days to take advantage of the onsite benefit of Early Park Entry at the 4 Disney World theme parks! This advantage gives Disney Resort hotel guests and guests of other select hotels 30 extra minutes of park time each morning. Also, now through January 3, 2022, those guests will be able to enter the parks 60 minutes early as a way to make the experience even better during the holiday season. And one of my favorite ways to have more time in the parks is staying at a Disney Deluxe resort. Guests of Deluxe resorts get Extended Evening Hours on select nights at Magic Kingdom and Epcot. That's 2 EXTRA hours of park time with little to no waits on attractions.
One a warm night not so long ago, this brave boy stepped through the door of an elevator and into the Hollywood Tower of Terror. He didn’t say much when we were done with the ride. He was just very wide eyed. But when he saw this cast member he asked if he could take a picture with him. Cast Members are truly magic. Today is national cupcake day! 🧁 I still think about how good this 50th celebration cupcake was, from Karamell-Küche. It's made of a dark chocolate cake with salted caramel buttercream frosting, decorated with celebration sprinkles, a drizzle of caramel, and a milk chocolate “50” icon. So simple, but so delicious! What’s your favorite packing hack? I love packing cubes, and swear by them. BUT……when it comes to Disney I have something even better. I pack an outfit per day in a gallon size ziplock bag labeled with the kids name and day of the week. Not only does everything fit perfect, but you can make the bags air tight to help save space. In the morning the kids can grab their own bag and get dressed without me having to dig through their suitcase. #momwin. This may seem silly, but the time it saves me on vacation is worth the prep time at home. I don’t know about you, but I live out of my suitcase on vacation and this is such a helpful tip for that. REVIEW TIME for the Merrytime Cruise on the Disney Magic: CAPACITY 🛳🎄: Capacity seemed to be increased to at least above 50%, compared to the DCL Wonder cruise I went on October that was around 1/3 capacity. HOLIDAY THEMING 🛳🎄: The holiday decorations in the Atrium were very nice & there was a huge gingerbread house near the Guest Services Desk - unfortunately the Atrium had about 90% of all the decorations on the ship. The restaurants had some, although minimal decorations. None of the portholes had holiday decals like the Wonder had for Halloween. CHARACTER EXPERIENCES 🛳🎄: We seen Mickey & Minnie about 2 times, twice in their Sailing costumes on the same day and once in boring holiday sweaters on the last day - this was the most upsetting part. I did get to see Santa, but he was only out twice the entire cruise. For a Holiday Cruise the lack of characters in holiday costumes & minimal experiences with Santa was ridiculous. PORTS 🛳🎄: Castaway Cay was fun as always! I loved all the holiday decorations on the island. Of course we spent all day at Serenity Bay, the adults only beach. COVID MEASURES 🛳🎄: Wearing a mask doesn’t bother me at all, but if it’s going to be a rule that we all agree to follow then the Disney Magic needs to actually enforce the rule. Either get rid of the “requirement” or start enforcing it like it was on the Wonder in early October. DINING 🛳🎄: Lumiere’s dinner was lackluster, but Animator’s Palate was amazing! Rapunzel’s was the best themed in my opinion (see my DCL Magic Highlights for more details on our dining experience) #DisneyCruiseLine #MerrytimeCruise #DisneyDude
