My new favourite character breakfast location! . Topolinos Terrace is not only a beautiful restaurant with gorgeous views, but the food and character interactions were great! Donald stole my heart (bye Matt!) but that’s ok because him and Mickey are buds. They all had me giggling the whole time. I had the waffles and was very happy with them! Matt had the steak and eggs and of course there was a pastry platter to start with. We finished at about 12:30 and were not hungry again until 7pm. With elevated dining options and subtle Disney theming throughout, this Spanish colonial resort is perfect for so many types of guests. Did I mention the amazing speciality coffee bar in the lobby? I love Grand Destino for couples, girls trips, adults only Disney vacays, and families with 4 people or less. For a deluxe resort experience at a moderate price, Gran Destino Tower is where you need to be.

I AM A PECOS BILL STAN 🗣️ I honestly can’t believe I’m saying this but I’m loving Pecos Bill right now?? This quick service in Magic Kingdom serves up Mexican inspired eats and has been dubbed the Taco Bell of Disney World (and not in a good way 🤣). Now I’m not gonna act like this is the best quick service in Magic Kingdom but it’s serving up exactly what I want, super simple nachos, tacos, and fajitas! 🌮 This is a straight forward, tasty spot that is consistent almost every time! My recent go to order is the Beef Nachos for $11.49 with a side of guacamole for $2.50. 🥑 I definitely bullied Sage into this for lunch because it isn’t a super beloved spot but that makes me curious, what are YOUR Magic Kingdom quick service opinions?? Resort Spotlight – Polynesian! This iconic opening-day resort is one of the top ones I get asked about most frequently from clients. Located on the monorail it has beautiful grounds, fantastic restaurants and one of the best fireworks viewing locations outside of the parks. Pros: - Location: Polynesian is on the monorail line and even has a walking trail to Magic Kingdom. Currently, the walking trail is closed during construction of the new DVC tower but is expected to reopen sometime in late 2024. - Restaurants: This resort has some of the very best dining options of any Disney World property with ‘Ohana, Trader Sam’s and Kona Café. - Dole Whip: In addition to great dining options you can also get Dole Whip here! Need I say more? - Extended Evening Hours: As a Deluxe resort Polynesian qualifies for Extended Evening hours on select dates. - Fireworks: The beach at Polynesian is one of the very best spots to watch the Magic Kingdom fireworks outside of Magic Kingdom (and its crowds)! - Sleeps 5: As a family of five this is always an important one to me! The Polynesian standard rooms can sleep five comfortably which is an amazing perk for larger families. Cons: - Price: like the other Deluxe monorail resorts the biggest downside to the resort is the price. There are some incredible perks of staying here but it will cost you! - Construction: There is currently construction going on at the Polynesian. Many guests say their trip is totally unaffected but it is something you should be aware of if you are heading there soon! - Longer walk to Magic Kingdom compared to the similarly priced Contemporary and Grand Floridian resorts. - Recreation: For a Deluxe resort there are not a ton of options in terms of free recreation at this resort compared to some other resorts in this category.
