"Slimy, yet satisfying" 🐛🪲🐞🪱 Bugs & Grubs °Double Chocolate Brownie °Chocolate Ganache °Oreo Crumbs °Matcha Crumble °Gummy Worms °Chocolate Bugs This was actually the first treat that inspired me to make my Animal Kingdom menu. In fact, this was listed on the menu and I didn't even know what it was going to look like in the end 😅 While I was creating this treat, I originally only had the Oreo and the worms on top like a dirt cup. It was boring and didn't have any color... I couldn't post it. A week went by...🤦🏻♀️ I got the idea to add some white chocolate flowers and the leaves. It was better but I still wasn't happy with it... I wanted MORE green! 🌱 I've been on a matcha kick lately so while I was making tea, I thought, "Matcha crumble!" Three test recipes later, I finally had a crumble I liked (which is also the base of the Everest Macaroon) Once again, it still wasn't colorful enough for me... It needed some red to contrast with all the green but I didn't want to add more flowers. Thank you Francis! 🐞 (Bugs Life reference for all the non Disney fans) Finally my vision was fulfilled 🙌 I really liked how this one came out! What is your favorite detail?

Today I'm featuring more Disney trading pins. :) My mom and I took my kids to Disney World in 2007, 2008 and 2015. We traded pins with Cast Members on every trip and thoroughly enjoyed it. This lanyard is from 2008 and it's all #ChipandDale except for Jordan's little stuffed #Duffy bear that anchors the lanyard. There are so many different types of pins represented including #FourSeasons , #Aloha , #DisneyDesserts ( #MickeyEarsBar , #ZebraDome , #KitchenSinkSundae , #RainbowCheesecake and #DoleWhip ) and #DisneyFood (blueberries, nuts, carrots and apples). This is one of 4 lanyards that hangs on my bedroom door (2 on the inside and 2 on the outside). Happy solar eclipse day! Let's review the Galaxy Parfait from the Galactic Grill in Tomorrowland. I'm the type of person who adores sugar, and you will almost never hear me say something has too much sugar... this might have too much sugar. 😅 And again, I love sugar, so I don't necessarily see this as a bad thing, but if a person like me who never finds things too sweet finds a dessert too sweet, then maybe those who are more sensitive to sugar would find an issue with it. I thought the flavors were delicious, though. Chocolate cake and raspberries are two of my favorite foods, so it's like this was made for me. Every bite was delicious, even if extra sweet. Honestly, my only issue was the mess. Photo 2 is my hand after simply holding the lid as I ate. I didn't even see much residue on the lid, but clearly, there was some. And when I went to clean my hands (using tissues and hand sanitizer while in the line for the Matterhorn), it just spread the blue around, so it looked like my hand was bruised. 🤣 Overall, I highly recommend this treat. It's super delicious, but maybe plan to share with a friend if you don't enjoy overly sweet things. Also, don't get it on your face unless you want to look like you're a Na'vi. 😁
