Some days are for the f@@k it bucket! I over slept! I rarely sleep past 7, today I did! I got to work, and my water heater had had enough of heating water and had spent the weekend dripping (well more than dripping), a nice puddle awaited me at the bottom of the stairs! A plumber has now been and isolated the said water heater, it's stopped dripping and will be replaced. He's a very fair plumber, and didn't charge me for today but a new one will cost me, always good after paying the VAT man! And finally (I hope), it's been so quiet today, the Tuesday after bank holiday always is but today was ghostly. Hello! It’s been awhile since I’ve posted. Life with my now 1 year old is full! Full of so much joy and laughter.But I am still here, and I’m pleased to say I feel like my design brain is finally firing up again. I’m not someone who typically sits down with the intention of designing pieces, I either play around with materials and see where they take me, OR I have vivid designs come to me when I’m half asleep during the night! So it’s not something I can force :) I’m happy to say I’m excited about some new design ideas that came to me this week, and I look forward to working on them early next year💕

🌡️November Update🌡️ Last month we had daily highs ranging from 13°C down to 3°C right at the end of the month. So we are back to having a completely green section! I love how the colours have come full circle back to the greens we started with 💚 Only one more month to go now and we will definitely see the introduction of dark blue thread for the sub zero weather at the start of December ❄️ The 12” and 8” patterns are live in my Etsy shop if you fancy joining in with this project in 2024. 🌡️Bye October, hello November🌡️ October saw daily highs ranging from 11°C to 24°C but the end of the month has definitely felt very autumnal. It also rained…a lot! We’re now back to green so almost coming full circle (literally!) to our starting point in January with just 2 months left of the year. I’m now thinking ahead to the 2024 temperature hoop (yes there will be another one!) and considering having a different colour thread for every degree, rather than one colour for every 3 degrees.
