Art Bound: Expand Your Art Practice Here we go!!!! The wait list is open for my annual Sketchbook Challenge, where you can register your interest to be sure of hearing all the updates and notifications on what’s gong to be happening this year. Last year we had weekly themes, along with weekly live calls. This year we’ll be starting by making our own sketchbooks and taking it from there. It’s a month of focus and fun for your art practice and I can’t wait to get started. Here’s what @safiabutton said last year. I can honestly say that taking Lin’s July Sketchbook Challenge in 2023 was one of the best decisions I made for my art that year. I had actual breakthroughs in my art during it. What Lin excels at in particular is her way of getting you to examine and reflect on your practice either as a whole or during any one particular exercise. There’s no pushing or prescriptiveness in her methodology, only gentle encouragement towards exploration and honest self-reflection. Last year my watercolour #concertinasketchbook from @onegardenbrighton was accepted for the @wellsartcontemporary … there is a few days left to enter this year’s exhibition … and here is mine on the application page of the website 😁😁 This was a lovely event and I recommend applying, artists! We stayed at Wells for a couple of nights To go to the exhibition and had a fab break. So many great places to visit nearby.
