The last #simmonssundayselfies of this #decade and #2019 . There were highs and lows but these 2 are some of my fav things about this last decade. Half of this decade I’ve been set out on a path on improving myself. It wasn’t a straight line, there were lots of squiggly lines and maybe even some circles. I want to be the healthiest momma I can be, not the skinniest or a certain number on the scale. Healthy is gut health(immune system health) it’s feelings great naturally not hopped up on caffeine and artificial junk. I don’t diet, I don’t eat perfect every day and I work on it. I work hard in the gym. I don’t apologize for making goals and working on them. I am the example to show my kids that you can be many things in life but you still are allowed to have dreams and goals and work on yourself. Your world deserves the best (not perfect) version of you.
It’s rare we all take pictures together. Life has changed for us and a new season is here! So many things to thank God for. The seasons that seemed like eternities. Because of Plexus I lost 40lbs and my body looked horrible but I had energy to walk, do Zumba and run then got hooked on CrossFit. Because of CrossFit my body is changing. Because of Plexus I want to eat better to fuel my body and work my booty off at the gym. CrossFit and healthy eating didn’t fix my gut health issues or my 💩issues, or my kids immune health or my Endo pain or lots of different things. Plexus alone didn’t give me the body I wanted, just the help to go out in the work. This is 2 years of CrossFit and 5 yeas of gut health supplements and making better choices most of the time. Healthy is not a fad diet. Healthy takes time. Healthy is hard work. Healthy is So Rewarding! Healthy is consistent effort over time.
