Blackbird mask for "In the Name of Forgotten Women" at CoHo Theater. To create this eerie look I embellished a Halloween mask (3rd photo) to look more organic. Since it's for a feminine character, I used trim to add "eyelashes" and some acrylic paint to add dimension to the beak. After leaving school, was hired by a local music store #Musicland, very active in the local scene. Founded Slipknot, pioneers to the #newwaveofAmericanheavymetal in 1995: Joey and two custom percussionists were giving a sick and savage feel defined "suffocating” as their cool #stagemasks! Fast, powerful and punchy, he’s one of the most influential drummers of the last 20 years. #Pearl and #Ddrum his favorite brands. On Dec 12 2013, Slipknot announced officially that Jordison had left the group, citing personal reasons. My heart was withering… Another time, in L.A. 2003, I was on a press-trip with Roadrunner Records. We stayed in the same hotel on Sunset Blvd and I run into him on the elevator: “Hi! My name is Joey, nice to meet you”. “I know who you are! 😜 We met before in Milano and I was wearing a Slipknot suit”. Para haber sido mi primera vez,nunca imaginaria que llegaría a superar los 5 o 6 días,y menos aun la acogida tan increíble que le habeis dado todos.
