What a joy it was to visit Shankill Castle today and receive a guided tour by the owner and artist Elizabeth Cope (@elizabeth_cope). I could have listened to her tell me about the castle and its grounds all day not to mention her stories on her incredible work. @ShankillCastle is such a hidden gem, so much so that I almost want to keep it a bit of a secret but if you're close by to Kilkenny it really is a worthwhile visit and Elizabeth does house tours on the weekend which you can find out more about by visiting their site.
