We were impressed. She now knows stay, come, no, out to potty. She will fetch the ball for a little bit. But we have this little game I play with her and her deer antler (she has to chew on). She absolutely loves this game. In fact, she will pick up her antler, bring it to me, and if I don't play it, she will bark. It's hysterical. She gets a 30 minute walk each day and loves it. *A V A I L A B I L I T Y* These three cuties from Wilma & Leo’s "Gems" litter are 6 weeks old and looking for their furever families. They will be ready to go home to their new families in just a couple weeks. The puppies have been getting some outside playtime this week and have had fun exploring their big new world. They have had the opportunity to interact with some of our older dogs and have gotten lots of love from our grandchildren and other visitors. The puppies are using their litter boxes much better this week with very few accidents. They are also learning to go outside to go to the bathroom. This should make the transition to their new home much easier. The puppies have now been fully weaned from mom and are eating softened kibble. Their teeth are starting to come in and we will begin transitioning them from softened kibble to hard kibble. The puppies are taking day time naps in their crates with the doors open and are also sleeping in the crates at night. Wilma & Leo’s puppies are 4 weeks old and growing fast. We have already accomplished a lot with them in their 4 short weeks: 🐾We completed Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) with the puppies. 🐾Their eyes & ears are fully open. 🐾We added a sleeping area and potty area to their whelping box and the puppies are already having success in keeping their beds clean. 🐾We have been doing sound desensitization by playing audio sounds of different noises. 🐾We have been doing daily puppy snuggles sessions and our 10-step handling sessions. 🐾The puppies are now playing for short times in between naps & eating & interacting with their littermates. 🐾The puppies are walking around pretty well (still a little wobbly), wagging their tails, and mimicking the sounds they hear. We have even heard some barking sounds as the puppies play with each other. We still have a lot more to accomplish in the next 4 weeks before they go home to their new families. This week, we will: 🐾Continue sound desensitization. 🐾Begin the weaning process by introducing the puppies to goats milk. 🐾Continue the socialization process. 🐾Move the puppies into a larger play area where they will have more room to play and explore. 🐾Introduce the puppies to wire crates. Initially, the crate doors will be left open and the puppies will be able to freely go in and out of the crates. 🐾Continue our 10-step handling process and puppy cuddle sessions. 🐾Begin transitioning the puppies from potty pads to litter boxes. Reese & Gus’s puppies are 6 weeks old and will be ready to go home to their new families in just a couple weeks. 🏡 The puppies have been getting some outside playtime this week and have had fun exploring their big new world.🌎️They have had the opportunity to interact with some of our older dogs and have gotten lots of love from our grandchildren and other visitors.👦👧 The puppies are using their litter boxes much better this week with very few accidents. They are also learning to go outside to go to the bathroom. This should make the transition to their new home much easier. The puppies have now been fully weaned from mom and are eating softened kibble. Their teeth are starting to come in and we will begin transitioning them from softened kibble to hard kibble. The puppies are taking day time naps in their crates with the doors open and are also sleeping in the crates at night.💤 Over the next few weeks and until the puppies go home to their new families, we will continue: 🔊Sound desensitization 🥎Socialization by exposing them to new experiences, sights, textures, & toys. 🐶10-step handling process and puppy cuddle sessions We still have two spots AVAILABE in this litter.
