So how does it work? Once you've chosen your style; either Irish (or Scottish or whichever twist), or English (or Welsh in the case of the Little Spud Pub) we start you off with a base model. The base models to choose from are silver, gold or platinum. From there we can work with you to customise and finalise your Little Pub design. For example you might have a gold base model but want to add an upgrade from the platinum model. Or you might want to add a custom frame to display your rugby jersey, or add a showcase to display some personal treasures. Then of course you name your pub, choose your pub colour, your interior mood and any other personal touches! Then we build it, put it on the back of a truck, ship it to your house, lift it into place and have one of our team set it up for you. Within an hour you can be sitting inside having a cold one and soaking in all the glory! It's as easy as that! Introducing, perhaps the most luxurious pub to date, The Little Highland Tavern. This Little (ish) Pub was born in Southland where it’s owners had two main things in mind; family and rugby. With a name like the Little Highland Tavern it’s not hard to guess which Super Rugby team this family supports. Take a step inside and you’ll find another rugby tribute, the prized possession on the walls, a Southland Stags jersey from when they claimed the Ranfurly Shield over Canterbury in October 2009, returning the shield to Southland after 50 years. A lot of pride and thought went into the every inch of this Little Pub. The owners incorporating their own personal touches in every detail from their Scottish heritage, to the colours found from their own pub research, to the brick work on the fireplace, the window design and the Steinlager sign above the showcase. After reading about My Little Pub online Bruce and Margaret came down to Christchurch at the end of last year to see one in the flesh and quickly fell in love. We were thrilled to work with these new Little Publicans who were passionate about adding their own touches to their Little Pub; Tartan fabrics, each of their own Scottish coats of arms, scotch whisky brands on the signage and “a space to add some CD’s by some 60’s to 80’s Scottish musicians – Sheena Easton, Bay City Rollers, Eurythmics, Donovan, The Proclaimers, Lulu, Average White Band etc.” amongst other favourite 70’s and 80’s musicians The Moray Inn is a platinum model, Little Irish Pub with a definite Scottish flavour. It features the custom made stained-glass windows, corner bench seating which includes a church pew end, two bespoke showcase cabinets filled with handpicked memorabilia, a complete TV wall unit and fireplace plinth and mantel and of course all of the finer details and special effects to give it all of it’s pub atmosphere.
