Artworks Trenton is honored to be selected for the Cass Street Mural Project. Our proposal, “Breaking Barriers”, led by artist Jonathan “LANK” Conner, our Public Arts Project Manager, represents the collective vision of our team of Trenton artists -Leon Rainbow (Lead), Jose “Busta” Bustamente (Lead), Dean “Ras” Innocenzi, Dave “Mek” Klama, Alia Bensliman and April Cooper. Attention @trentonsk8s family! Please read! 👀 As we approach the 2024 spring/summer skate season, I, @rollingintune, am working towards creating a promo video to attach to a GoFundMe campaign. For those who aren’t aware, it costs roughly $2000 to run the Cadwalader Park events each year (covers park permits & insurance fees), with a time commitment of about 15 hours/week. Thus far, I’ve been paying the $2000 out of my own pocket, with the donations collected at the events just barely covering it. This year I’d love to be able to bless our DJs with a monetary gift for their services! Something we haven’t been able to do yet, because of lack of funds. Additionally, I’d love to continue classes downtown & potentially plan some family events! But I can’t do these things without funding.
