「哺乳類学会に参加しました」 8月７日～８月10日に行われた「哺乳類学会2023年度大会100周年記念沖縄大会」の企業展示ブースに参加してきました。 久々にオンラインなしの現地開催や会場が沖縄ということもあり、会場はとても盛り上がっていました。 ブースにはお世話になっているお客様や、「これは何ですか？」と電気柵やCO2ネズミノックアウトについてご質問くださる方など様々な方が来てくださいました。 展示ブースにお越しくださった皆様ありがとうございました！ さらに展示の合間に学会発表にも参加し、発表を聞きいてきました。 野生動物におけるICTの課題や解決策、アライグマやキツネの現状と対策、シカに対する研究結果などを聞いてきました。 この中で私は札幌市の市街地へのキツネの出没増加についての発表がとても興味深かったです。 キツネは1990年→2020年に市街地への出没頻度が増え、交通事故や市民からの苦情や相談が増加しています。 さらに2021年、2022年に市街地全域への個体数の増加が見られ、市街地の公園などで繁殖を行っている個体も確認されているそうです。 キツネの出没で一番心配されているのはエキノコックスです。 現在の調査でエキノコックスに感染しているキツネは、市街地より市街地周辺部(林沿い)に多く確認されているため感染のリスクは低いそうです。 ですが、どのキツネがエキノコックスに寄生されているかわからないため、キツネには決して近づかないようにしてください。 北海道に初めて来られた方も、近づいたり餌付けをしたりしないでください！ 今回初めての哺乳類学会への参加で多くのことを学び、様々な方とお会いできました！ また参加できるのを楽しみにしています😊 営業課：梅田 #展示会 #哺乳類学会 #サージミヤワキ #ガラガー #電気柵 #獣害対策 #獣害柵 #害獣対策 #農業 #野生動物 #資材販売 #農業資材 #ネズミトラップ #キツネ #エキノコックス #マイクロチップ #調査 #アライグマ #捕獲 #外来種 #らく捕りー #Trovan #Havahart

In 1996, amidst the meningitis outbreak in Northern NIGERIA, Pfizer conducted a controversial clinical trial for Trovan, their experimental antibiotic. Tragically, this trial resulted in the loss of 11 lives and caused permanent disabilities in numerous children who participated. Part 3 of 3: Blackmail and corruption. This clip from 2010 provides a good summary, as well as the account of the Washington Post journalist who broke the story. In 1998, the license for Trovan for use by adults was withdrawn from the European Medical Agency, because of concerns over serious medical problems and multiple deaths. It was withdrawn from the US market in 1999 for the same reasons, though at the time Pfizer claimed trials had revealed NO side effects! The results from the trial in Kano State were never published. Pfizer contends that there was no regulation or law in Nigeria requiring ethical committee approval before conducting a clinical trial or investigative study. Therefore, there was no need to obtain what the law did not require. In March 2009, Pfizer and Kano State officials, along with representatives of the children’s families, met to confirm an out-of-court settlement for US $75 million, with a confidentiality agreement. The conclusion of the trial by a settlement led to compensation for some of the families affected, but Pfizer NEVER admitted to wrongdoing, and maintains to this day that the trial was proper and life-saving! #Wunder gibt es immer wieder … Bei #Studien von #Pharmakonzernen kommen diese so gut wie fast immer zu dem #Fazit, ein #Medikament sei wirksam & nebenwirkungsarm. Schon toll wenn man seine eigenen #Studienergebnisse durchführen kann. Das nennt man dann wohl #HappyEnd & ist unter dem Namen „ #PublikationsBias“ bekannt. Bei #Pfizer ist das beispielsweise #Trovan & #Edronax. Eine im #Fachmagazin „ #BritishMedicalJournal“ veröffentlichte Studie kommt zu dem vernichtenden Urteil, das #Antidepressivum Edronax sei „ineffektiv & potenziell schädlich“. In #Deutschland war das Medikament 12 Jahre zur Behandlung von #Depressionen zugelassen. Am Ende wurden insgesamt 17 Studien ausgewertet, davon waren aber nur 7 veröffentlicht laut #IQWiG. Die sieben Studien an insgesamt 1.600 #Patienten hätten ein positives Bild des Medikaments gezeichnet. Erst die zehn unveröffentlichten Studien, in denen insgesamt mehr als 3.000 Patienten untersucht wurden, führten zu dem negativen Gesamtbild. 2001 brachte #AstraZeneca #Nexium auf den Markt. Dieses Mittel sollte bei #Magengeschwüren & #Sodbrennen helfen. Obwohl vergleichbare Medikamente zu einem deutlich günstigeren Preis erhältlich waren. Da kommt die Frage auf, warum die #Ärzte Nexium trotzdem weiter verschreiben. Die Antwort: Die Ärzte erhalten von AstraZeneca eine #Belohnung für die Verschreibung von Nexium, bis 2006 hat AstraZeneca in Deutschland mindestens 30.000 Ärzten Geld für solche Machenschaften bezahlt. Und das ist jetzt nur ein kurzer Blick auf die Pharmakonzerne zweier #Corona Impfstoffe. Wir können uns also darauf verlassen, dass wir nicht nur in Bezug auf die Corona Imfpstoffe ausschließlich gute Nachrichten zu hören bekommen. Denn Medikamentenstudien mit schlechten Ergebnissen werden häufig unterdrückt. Der generelle Haftungsausschluss für diese Pharmakonzerne bestätigt mich auch weiterhin die durch die #STIKO empfohlene Drittimpfung an bedürftigere Menschen abzutreten. This true story is one of the most important movies of all time. The incredible actor, Ralph Finnes, plays a complacent gardening diplomat who works for the British government. He meets a fiery whip-smart investigator, played by Rachel Weisz, who catches on to a relationship between the US drug company, Pfizer, and the local authorities. What follows is a beautifully filmed account of a quest for truth. I saw this movie in the cinema when it was released, as a postgraduate. It wasn’t until I began working for Pfizer, that I recognised the perpetrator to be my employer. I went on to release the relevant withheld evidence about a banned antibiotic called Trovan, from the company’s anti-bacterial portfolio, to the Nigerian regulator in 2008. Pfizer pled guilty to the charge of “Crimes Against Humanity” in 2010, because of the records which were being perversely withheld from disclosure. If it wasn’t for this film, I wouldn’t have known about the incident. You may recognise Ralph Finnes from the Harry Potter series as “Voldemort”. Rachel Weisz, who is married to “007” in real life, went on to get an Oscar for her role in this film. As for this clip, the falsified dossier on the Iraq war were under the care of a barrister called, Anya Proops, of 11 Kings Bench Walk, who represents the UK Information Commission, as well as Pfizer.
