#CNCRTNTWRK * Long time no read but times are crazy busy at the moment * Let’s start the engine again & to celebrate the »restart«, I’d like to talk about a speacial human being * Handsome @danielsteindorf is a husband, father, founder, owner, buyer, cultural architect, street/sneaker/fashion native & last but not least tennis junkie & @eintrachtfrankfurt fan * He was born in 1983 in Mainhatten aka FFM aka Frankfurt/Main * After he gratuated from university, he immediately opened the infamous »Ubervart« store * During his time as the head of his own store, he created a lot of hype around his concept * Ubervart was the first retailer with a Marc by @marcjacobs shop in shop execution, he created collabs with brands like @soulland, @closedofficial or @autryactionshoes * In 2020, two amazing concepts rooted in Germany joined forces & the new concept @mbcystore was born * Since then, Daniel is working as the Sr. Buyer for MBCY & @solebox & is using his knowledge to create the present & future assortment for both concepts * Long story short, Daniel is a real OG, deeply rooted in fashion, streetwear & sneakers & last but not least an inspirational architect of street culture in Germany * Welcome to the #CNCRTNTWRK & keep the fire burning! * 🤝

Well: Back in August 2008 I opened the menswear store #uebervart and didn’t know what a journey this will be at all: Starting business during the financial crisis, opening a second store, an outlet and an online shop, meeting great customers who became friends (@tilmannkoellner @danielboschmann and so many more), uncountable fashion weeks and - at the end - meeting the love of my life @kerstingoerling and start a family with her! In July 2020, after 12 years in business, I decided to take the next step and teamed up with @solebox and with a vision I developed together with @aljoscha.kondratiew during an adidas Consortium event in Paris (thanks, @king.jkt again) to turn Uebervart from a more local business into a leading concept for contemporary menswear in Europe. And today‘s the day. Uebervart is now called MBCY, the new webshop is live, international expansion on the way and I am super proud and happy to be part of it and see the idea growing. Thanks again to all who joined and have been part of the first 12 years and will be in the future.
