สิ่งแรกที่อยากจะบอกเกี่ยวกับหนังเรื่องนี้ก็คือ Soundtrack แซ่บมากครับ แต่ละเพลงเลือกเอามาใช้ประกอบในหนังได้อย่างพอเหมาะ เสริมความลื่นให้กับหนังได้อย่างเด็ดเลย ส่วนตัวหนังเองก็ทำได้สนุกดีครับ ใครชอบหนังสไตล์ Lord of War ก็น่าจะโอเคกับเรื่องนี้ เพราะเนื้อเรื่องก็มาทางเดียวกันครับ ตัวเอกคือพ่อค้าอาวุธที่ต้องเผชิญกับปัญหาหลังจากเลือกเดินบนเส้นทางนี้ไปแล้ว เดวิด (Miles Teller) คือพ่อค้าผ้าปูที่นอนธรรมดาคนหนึ่งที่พบว่าการทำมาหากินในยุคนี้มันยากเหลือเกิน แล้วเขาก็ได้เจอกับ อีเฟรม (Jonah Hill) เพื่อนสมัยเด็กที่กำลังล่ำซำจากการค้าอาวุธ แล้วพอถึงจุดหนึ่งพวกเขาก็มาทำอาชีพนี้ร่วมกันครับ ทีนี้จากการค้าเล็กๆ ก็เริ่มขยายขนาดใหญ่ขึ้น จนถึงขั้นไปทำสัญญาส่งอาวุธเข้ากองทัพสหรัฐ (ซึ่งหมายถึงเงินก้อนโตรอพวกเขาอยู่ที่ปลายทาง) แต่ก็อย่างที่บอกครับว่า ยิ่งพวกเขาเดินบนเส้นทางนี้นานเท่าไร เขาก็ยิ่งเจอกับเรื่องที่ใหญ่เกินแก้ไขมากเท่านั้น หนังเป็นแนวตลกครับ เอาเรื่องพวกนี้มาเล่าแบบเปี่ยมอารมณ์ขัน โดยคนกำกับก็คือ Todd Phillips แห่ง The Hangover ทั้ง 3 ภาค และ Joker ซึ่งผลงานเรื่องนี้ถือว่าทำได้ดีเลยครับ รสชาติกลมกล่อม หลายอย่างตัว คือมันอาจไม่ถึงกับสุดยอดมากๆ หรือคมคายมากๆ แต่ก็ถือว่าทำได้ดีจนอยากให้ลองชมกัน ในแง่อารมณ์ขัน หนังแทรกความฮาลงไปตลอดเรื่องครับ แต่ไม่ใช่มุกฮาตึ้งโป๊ะ ทว่าจะเป็นอารมณ์ขันจากสถานการณ์หรือการกระทำของตัวละครที่มีเปิ่นบ้าง หรือผิดที่ผิดทางบ้าง ซึ่งทำออกมาได้ขำดีครับ ก็ต้องชมดาราทุกคนที่เล่นกันได้พอเหมาะด้วยล่ะ และอีกอารมณ์ขันก็คืออารมณ์ขันแบบ “หึหึ” ที่หนังเอาเรื่องจริงของสงครามมาพูดเล่น อย่างเรื่องที่ว่าสงครามคือธุรกิจที่ทำเงินต่อปีมหาศาลที่สุด เป็นธุรกิจบนความตายที่ถูกกฎหมาย คนที่ได้รับประโยชน์ก็คือคนที่คอยเซ็นต์สัญญาอนุมัติอยู่ในห้อง ส่วนคนชั้นผู้น้อยที่ถูกส่งไปรบหรือไปตายนั้น หนังก็ชวนให้คิดว่าพวกเขาถูกส่งไปเพื่อปกป้องอะไรกันแน่ ระหว่าง “สันติภาพของทั้งโลก” กับ “ธุรกิจของคนบางกลุ่ม” War Dogs (2016) (7/10) ดูจาก #HBOgo #HBOgoTH #HBOAsia #ToddPhillips #AnadeArmas #JonahHill #MilesTeller #10000tip #หมื่นทิพ

Their awkward yet genuine friendship is at the heart of the film, grounding the absurdity in relatable humanity. - The action sequences are expertly choreographed, adding an extra layer of excitement to the proceedings. From car chases to shootouts, the film delivers adrenaline-pumping thrills that keep you glued to the screen. - However, one aspect of the film that did feel slightly uncomfortable was the dynamic between Jonah Hill’s character and Brie Larson’s character. While their flirtation is played for laughs, it can come across as awkward and forced at times, especially considering their age difference. Stoner film, noun. A subgrene of comedy with themes of marijuana, where recreational use often drives the plot. Happy 4/20! A day associated with getting high, so it feels only right to look back at some of my favourite stoner films in celebration… as I will not be partaking in the popular event today. Films around partying, drugs and good times have been a staple of the comedy genre for decades, and they continue to entertain audiences of all generations today. The stars of the genre have included some of the biggest names in comedy including Seth Rogen, Jason Sudeikis, Ryan Reynolds, Jonah Hill, Seth two time Academy Award winner Emma Stone, Jim Belushi, Jennifer Aniston, Sean Penn, Nicolas Cage and Mark Wahlberg. From classics like Fast Times at Ridgemont High and National Lampoon’s Animal House, to modern hits such as Ted, This Is The End and Superbad. And even Guy Ritchie’s gangster flick The Gentlemen is making an appearance because what a brilliant gangster flick all about marijuana. I’m sure there are not many surprises on my list, maybe just the spots the fall in, but my top ten favourite stoner films are: 10. Ted 9. National Lampoon’s Van Wilder 8. . ** Happy 420 Weekend Everybody ** . (firstly, I apologize for the mistake on slide number three, Incendies came out in 2011, not 2023) . There are FOUR films that are out in the theater that I want to see this week, The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare, Monkey Man, Civil War, and Abigail! I'll probably only get around to seeing two of them on the big screen this weekend, but hopefully I can get around to the others on a $5 Tuesday, or something. . Being as it's only Spring, mid-April is usually a bit too early for the studios of unveil their "summer blockbusters" (not even sure how much of a thing it is anymore), but I've scoured the @box_officemojo website and I've found my nine FAVORITE films to ever be released on "420 Weekend!" . I decided to give ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’ another try yesterday because I didn’t really like it much when I first saw it about 10 years ago. I found it really funny on this rewatch and maybe I didn’t view it as a comedy originally and expectations ruined it for me which can often happen on anticipated films. 🎬 "𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗣𝗘𝗢𝗣𝗟𝗘" (𝟸𝟶𝟸𝟺) 𝓡é𝓼𝓾𝓶é : Il vient d'une communauté juive, elle est de communauté noire et musulmane : Ezra et Amira se sont trouvés et veulent se marier. En commençant par rencontrer leurs belles-familles... Avec une mère assez dérangeante, les parents d'Ezra se sont arrêtés aux idées reçues concernant la culture afro-américaine. Quant aux parents d'Amira, ces derniers sont fiers d'être Noirs et sur la réserve que leur fille se marie à un Blanc. Ezra futur "podcasteur" et du genre nerveux et maladroit dans ces propos, n'arrangera pas la situation pour mettre son futur beau-père en confiance... 𝗠𝗢𝗡 𝗔𝗩𝗜𝗦 : Ce film aurait des airs de "Mon beau-père et moi" avec Ben Stiller et Robert De Niro... Je ne m'en souviens pas l'avoir vu mais dans les grandes lignes, ça y ressemble ! Pour revenir à "You People", je n'ai pas été emballée : la 1ère partie amenait de la curiosité avec un peu d'humour mais dans la 2eme, j'ai fini par ne m'attacher à aucun des personnages excepté peut-être Amira, qui a su s'imposer dans l'histoire, de part sa sensibilité et sa patience ! Puis les personnages secondaires se font très vite oublier ! Mais ce qui était intéressant et dénonciateur, de remarquer ces clichés faits sur les Noirs et de voir le parallèle avec Ezra, se retrouvant face au rejet et à la dureté d'Akbar interprété par Eddie Murphy. Enfin, j'ai trouvé la scène finale un peu rapide et trop romantiseé...
