Definitely one of my favorite little paintings!! 🎨 I met the artist Randy Price several years ago when he did a Dillard’s photoshoot at my store. We became friends and one day he came in with these wonderful mixed media paintings done on vintage cigar boxes! The series was “A walk around Mckinney”. He did them exclusively for my store! Needless to say they were a hit and we sold a whole bunch of them. Note the pup going around the corner on the box!! They were all his interpretations of homes, buildings, etc as he strolled around McKinney! Thursday night grandkids were over for dinner and I made a bacon wrapped apricot glaze pork loin. I used brown sugar mixed with 2 of Ferals @feralsbbq Barbecue seasoning for a dry rub before wrapping the bacon around it. Then later added the apricot glaze. The flavors married well together! Have to say everyone loved it! Served with roasted asparagus and mashed sweet potatoes! You can buy this seasoning from their website! I’d say get right on that! 👏🏻😄 Good stuff, Andrew!
