Например у нас маленькие апартаменты, я, надо сказать привыкла к огромному дому, но сейчас мы не готовы к чему-то большому ни финансово, ни морально. Уборка дело одно, но я не хочу наполнять большое пространство, если я точно знаю, что я там очень ненадолго. Ну и пока наши апартаменты лучшие в этом ценовом диапазоне из того, что я видела и вижу. Наш переезд совпал с моим интересом к японским блогам, где, как правило, очень компактные квартирки. Это вдохновляет. И я не хочу разрастаться вещами, но сделать красиво и удобно и так, чтобы было всего достаточно - очень хочу. И наши апартаменты идеальны для такой задачи. Итак, я наконец освободила место на столешнице и теперь кажется ого-го как много места! Здесь 8 месяцев стояла духовка, которой я отчаянно пыталась найти место. И вуаля, поистине благодаря чуду и зачаткам моей инженерной мысли я наконец смогла ее впихнуть вниз. Планируется шторочка, но это не точно. Еще планируются полочки вместо верхних шкафчиков, но холодильник пока тому помеха. Потом расскажу почему. A little section of the rag rug I’m making. It’s been a long term project that gets cast aside for months on end at times, (anyone else?) - but I’m so close to finishing it now! It’s a brilliant way to recycle old clothes that are too worn for the charity shop, but it’s quite a slow process; each row takes me about half an hour. Some colourful springtime pictures from our walk through St Michael’s churchyard the other day. 😍🌸🌿 It’s one of the 5 largest churchyards in England, covering a 9 acre area! I love it that they let nature take over. The churchyard is known for its natural beautiful displays of snowdrops, crocuses, daffodils, bluebells, blossom trees, cow parsley, and endless amounts of wild garlic. What are the deciding factors when you buy fresh flowers? Do you prefer a bouquet of a single type and colour or a mixed bouquet? Is it usually the cost, colour, flower type, symbolism, fragrance, quality or the freshness that catches your eye? Or is it situational? The reason I am asking this question is because it got me thinking when I was doing a bit of research about red carnations. The research led me to the symbolism of this flower. Apparently, the deep red represents a deep love and affection. To be honest with you, I never think of what the flower represents. I tend to just go for the colour, cost, quality and freshness. The type of flower I choose is based on what is available and how I plan to use it in my photography. For today’s red carnation flat lay I used a black silk ribbon and black scissors as props. 🌹 Today is St Mark’s Day, widely celebrated in Europe, particularly Italy. As a scholar of philosophy, I love examining the study of unhappiness, and in my fiction, I often depict characters who either grapple with sorrow or remain indifferent to it. But as a generally contented particle, I believe in the beauty of the fleeting nature of things, appreciating that happiness gains its charm from its ephemerality. Ero piccoletta, occhi neri, magrissima e di carnagione scura, troppo scura, sorella di due bellissimi ragazzetti biondi con gli occhi azzurri di cui andavo particolarmente fiera. Non amavo le gonne e già all’epoca mi piaceva vestire diversamente dai miei coetanei, quindi ero “strana”. In vita mia non mi sono mai sentita parte di qualcosa, ero sempre “la diversa” quella al di fuori di ogni contesto, scuola o movimento. Non è stato affatto semplice, se non fai parte di alcun gruppo di persone accomunate dalle stesse caratteristiche o pensiero, sei fuori da qualsiasi stereotipo e devi faticare tanto anche solo per capire cosa gli altri si aspettino da te. E allora cosa può fare una bambina che vive solo di sogni e curiosità? Continua a sognare, vivendo in un mondo tutto suo; fatto solo di cose belle, di piccoli animaletti, di erbe, e di fiori, guadagnandosi tutto con coraggio dalla sua situazione marginale, quella in cui si è sempre mossa, quella che da sempre le appartiene. Po bardzo intensywnych 4 miesiącach ciężkiej pracy, w końcu mam trochę wolnego i mogę już powiedzieć, że mam "majówkę" 😉 Dzisiaj w planach fryzjer i książka. Co Wy aktualnie czytacie? Dajcie znać! 😊 Znacie "Serię Nadmorską" Agaty Przybyłek? Niedawno premierę miał trzeci tom, czyli "Na skrzydłach marzeń". Opowiada ona historię Marii i Łukasza. Ona jest ornitologiem, godzinami może obserwować ptaki. Pewnego dnia staje się ona właścicielką sieci hoteli, w tym budowanego w nadmorskiej Łebie. On jest tancerzem, nie tylko z pasji, ale także z zawodu. Oprócz tego pomaga rodzicom w prowadzeniu restauracji, nad morzem. Wydaje się, że dzieli ich wszystko, a jednak wspólne spacery po plaży i rozmowy, zdaje się, że obojgu są im bardzo potrzebne oraz pomocne. Jak to wpłynie na ich życia? Powieść ta ujęła mnie swoją prostotą. "Na skrzydłach marzeń" to opowieść o ludziach takich jak każdy z nas. Bohaterowie mają wiele rozterek, a przy tym są pełni pasji i istotne dla nich jest podążanie za własnymi marzeniami. Myślę, że nie sposób nie obdarzyć ich sympatią. Cenię tę serię Przybyłek za miejsce akcji. Nasze polskie morze jest mi wyjątkowo bliskie. Bardzo je lubię i choć fizycznie nie mogę tam bywać tak często jakbym chciała to cieszę się, że mogę czasem się tam znaleźć choćby i za sprawą kart książki.
