Feeling unwell, craving carbs... Saw a "recipe" a few weeks back, and did a version of it! Diced onions, garlic - sautéed in a bit of oil. Spaghetti, and a bit of flora buttery, salt, pepper, basil. Better than grabbing a noodle pot, no chance of cooking something like proper spag bol!! It was actually surprisingly good!! Frozen veg, and frozen garlic cubes, and frozen diced onions. Simple!!

✨ REVIEW @stokedveganbbq✨ Vegan Food is METALLLLLZ! 🤟🏻 Took a trip to @stokedveganbbq over the weekend , I’ve seen them popping up over my Insta for the last couple of months and when I saw they were hosting a metal night it was a no brainier! We were greeted by a treasure trove of quirky memorabilia , the smell of woodsmoke , candle lit tables and rockin friendly staff .. not to mention badass tunes 🤟🏻 🕯️ We went for : ▪️Limited Edition Ghost Wings - made from oyster mushrooms coated in the crispiest batter and a hellishly hot sauce , these were SO good , I couldn’t stop ,even though I was seeing double 😅 🌶️ ▪️Hattie B’s Fried “Chicken” - the texture on these buttermilk Seitan tenders was phenomenal and I don’t know what wizard created the Sweet Nashville Hot Oil but it was amazing , crispy Cajun fries and pickles 🥒 🍟 ▪️Mac & Cheese - no explanation needed , just look! Creamy and delicious , not to mention the crispy topping 🧀 Also an honourable mention the the themed cocktail list (there were tonnes more cocktails too) and selection of beers including masses of USA rarities 🍺🥃 Can’t wait to try some of the other offerings including the new pizzas and someone said “steak” night with Tiramisu! VEGAN OPTIONS AT WAGAMAMAS 🌱 It’s been a sweet minute since I visited @wagamama_uk and here’s what I picked up… 🍛 Tofu raisukaree curry. This was just meh…like filling and tasty but nothing spectacular. The tofu was also little cold compared to the hot sauce and veggies. 🌭Vegan k-dogs. Now these were BANGING and worth trying! Soya protein coated in crunchy noodle crumb in vegan mayo siracha sauce? YES PLEASE! I’m gonna dream of these. 🌶 Spicy margarita. Tasty, I don’t usually like margs on the rocks but this was a lovely meal accompaniment. Overall I was impressed to see they’ve upped the vegan options! A big shoutout to @yosushi. Not an invite or PR opportunity, just a Mama taking her daughter out for food while shopping. We popped to the MetroCentre branch as the Little Womble is a big fan of their Inari Tacos. She opted for the Bento Box this time round, which came with a decent sized Pumpkin Katsu in the base. I had a two-course special with a drink for £13, and her box was for free during the Easter break. The Inari and vegan Prawn Crackers were additional, but the bill was only £23 with service included. Such excellent value for money! DOWN THE HATCH LIVERPOOL 🌱 Took a lil day trip to Liverpool last week to see a band (which literally got cancelled the second we parked up lol) but we made a cute day of it anyway and walked around and grabbed some food at @downthehatchliv We got the early bird deal which included a starter, main and a refillable drink for around £18 each which I thought was really reasonable! To start we got the mushroom zinger wings and the seitan buffalo wings. For buffalo sauce this was actually pretty spicy! We both got the S&P burger for main but one with 4/20 loaded fries and one with kebabish loaded fries. I loved this burger and the fries are soooooo good too. Neither of us could finish our dinner and we rolled home so full. I actually wanted to try a different restaurant as this is where we ate last time we went to Liverpool but it was so good we just went again and I’m glad we did! 🍔

VEGAN @ THE LAUREATE 🌱 I was invited to try the restaurant inside @hyattmanchester and was surprised to see such a great vegan menu! A great option if you’re looking for a hotel in Manchester with delicious vegan options in the hotel restaurant! To start we had: ✨Abds Mezze- got this to share but loved it that but I ate most of it myself😂 ✨Soup of the day For mains: ✨Vegan margarita pizza- this was okay. The pizza base was really nice but the cheese had a very ‘vegan’ taste to it and tasted very coconutty. ✨Veg thai red curry- This was really tasty. Up there with one of the best Thai curry’s I’ve had. The flavours were great. Dessert: ✨Persian rice pudding I must also point out that the service was absolutely amazing. Everyone was extremely helpful and educated on the vegan products. Overall great experience and lovely food.
