All for less than the price of a single Nikon F body. Was owned by the late Paul DeVille of Ohio who founded DeVille Lumber in 1928. Born in 1908, Mr. DeVille lived until the end of 2004. When I drove in my tunnel, she helped me focus. Sometimes these are simple things: For example, remembering that there are drinks. I often forget to drink while shooting. Or take off protagonist @hongjiliu's shoes. Seemingly small things that greatly relieve. 🇬🇧 Directing. Directing is always an introspection. Not just for the director. When I'm responsible for this part, I often find myself in a tunnel. I have to act sensitively and at the same time challengingly with my protagonists. However, I also keep my agenda and vision. Especially in documentary, it is often challenging for the protagonists when they are in front of the camera. The best compliment is then: "At some point I no longer noticed the camera." @emly.we did a fantastic job of conducting the interview with @hongjiliu, but (thanks!) also had time for this and that picture from the shoot. @felizia.pauline.wittek has faithfully assisted, but more on that later! 👍 🇩🇪 Regie Regie ist immer eine Innenschau. Nicht nur für den Regisseur. Wenn ich für diesen Part verantwortlich bin, befinde ich mich oft in einem Tunnel. Ich muss mit meinen Protagonisten sensibel und gleichzeitig herausfordernd agieren. 🇬🇧 In the water. Unfortunately, there was a lot of water from above at this year's @sommerfilmakademie. But it was still a suitable day to shoot the scenes for my film about @hongjiliu. Some shooting situations are challenging for actors. As a director, it is then important to be motivating and positive, but not to give up your vision. @hongjiliu and @felizia.pauline.wittek went into the "Mud Pool". 🇬🇧 Black Forest After more than three months we set foot on German soil again and enjoyed the Black Forest a bit on the further journey. The photo was taken in Hornberg. I was surprised to read that the city was completely bombed out during the war. I haven't found a reason. @freilichtbuehnehornberg, can you help me? 🇩🇪 Schwarzwald Nach mehr als drei Monaten haben wir wieder deutschen Boden betreten und auf der weiteren Reise ein bischen den Schwarzwald genossen. Zeiss Biotar 58mm f/2, acquistato ad una cifra simbolica, in quanto da revisionare. Il barilotto era già in ottimo stato. L'ho completamente smontato, ho rimosso il grasso sugli elicoidi, vecchio di 60 anni, andandolo a sostituire con un altro più efficiente e moderno.
