One thing I LOVE more than anything is sitting with a business owner for a quiet hour to alchemise the stories that they are sitting on. To tease the ideas they want to bring into reality. It's magical. It's inspiring and its alchemical... Which is why I have introduced the "Alchemy hour", if you have caught any of my talks lately, you'll have an idea of my approach. If you have sat in on those talks, then you'll also know it is so hard to go through that process alone. Because you often edit out the bad bits... it's like pulling a tarot card you don't like the look of... you put it to the bottom of the pile and ignore it.... when actually that's the answer or sign you have been looking for all along. A three-pannel painting I did about 9 years ago. I called it 'Evolution of Consciousness' Each one of the panels has its own distinct concept, but overall, the three of them overlap. Some of the key concepts are: 1. Cosmic DNA: We are not separate from Nature and the world around us. Our DNA, our evolution, is intrinsically intertwined with the evolution of consciousness of our Universe. 2. The Forbidden Fruit of Knowledge: I make a proposition (referencing and re-creating the biblical story of the original sin) that the forbidden fruit of knowledge might be fruit itself (or else - the wisdom of plants). 3. Man Discovering Fire, the Magician: The powers we realize we have access to as we journey through life come with immense responsibility towards all life. Still on my Story. We got back into the bus and my JOLLY GOOD FELLOW PARTNER gave me a shocker on how he happened to sit beside me. 😳😳😳😂😂😂 Deceptive with a touch of Comedy. He said he heard that I had chosen No 5 and when the other guy had gone before him and was to choose a number from the available seats, he, my partner, whispered 'NO 10 NA!' as a talker that he was and our 'No 10 na Uncle' heard it and COPIED IMMEDIATELY. He said it so to distract the guy from choosing the no 4 seat because first, he likes the seat plus he will be sitting close to me. 🤣🤣🤣 What a world!!! He said he didn't know the other guy heard it, let alone choosing it. Chai!!! See what Copy Copy can do to pipu. He later attested that he could feel the guys eyes all over him and he can't even turn back to look at the guy. We laffed over it repeatedly 🤣🤣🤣 He is indeed a JOLLY GOOD FELLOW, He kept praising himself for choosing to sit beside me and how he would have missed my company if he opted for another number. He had so much excitement and happiness that was contagious, See us, alighting from that long journey to go have a treat😋 before heading to our various houses. He indeed can break any woman's Resolve to stay quiet. 🥰🥰🥰🤗🤗🤗 #storytelling #travelling

I've been drumming for 4 years now (so that's not new 😉) but the location is! It feels like quite a big change to move locations after I've been drumming at Gains Park for the last few years now. One day, confused by reflections, he flew against a window. He felt unconscious and woke up in a cardboard box. Where was he? As he opened his tiny black pearls, 2 pairs of eyes glanced at him, his head swirling. He couldn’t make up their language, they didn’t look like his own kind. The strangers gave him water, seeds, still he felt too weak to eat. He was scared of the strange pair looking at him with glare. The two children kept poking him. When he opened his eyes the little girl took him sweet and softy in her arms, she stroked his head gently with care, whispered: don’t worry I’ll take great care” • The boy looked at her and said: “Let’s feed him.” • She said: “I don’t think he is hungry. • Boy: “Pigeon’s are always hungry, I know these birds.” • Girl: “What does he eat?” • Boy: “Wait” (He went into his home and returned with a funnel, grains, and a chopstick). He took the pigeon, gave it to the girl to hold, and roughly opened his beak. He placed the funnel inside his beak, and started putting grains inside …) • Girl: “What are you doing? This is not right, don’t hurt him!” • Boy with reassurance: “Don’t worry, that’s how they do it, I saw it once on TV.” With his beak stretched open, un-milled pieces of grains, water entered. He couldn’t sallow and felt sick, he wanted to take off, but still he was too weak … More grains, more water came … Heartfelt, she could feel his pain. She didn’t know what to do other than to pull him away, but already it was too late. Softly he lay down his head, flew up to return to bird heaven. His box became his coffin, stuffed with soft cotton. Buried under the soil, his cross, decorated with wild flowers and scent of sandal oil. Felt with sorrow, tears dropped, she could only morrow. My most memorable bedtime story was that evening when my Mother, came into my room with a little red car toy. She started the story: “There was a small boy with a little red car toy (she held the car in her hands and drove it over my bedsheets). Where shall he go?” She always waited for my answers to create our stories … and so it happened, the little red car tales set sail … Each night the little red car and the boy traveled, we talked to the trees, animals, birds, owls and so created new ventures well swirled. Until this little lady yawned and drifted to her own little world.
