Bridge Over Troubled Water - Simon and Garfunkel (1970). Bridge Over Troubled Water was the fifth and last studio album by Simon and Garfunkel. Despite their phenomenal success the duo decided to split following the release of this album, Simon continuing his recording career, Garfunkel focusing more on his acting. The album has sold over 25 million copies and contains two of Rolling Stone’s top 500 songs of all time, Bridge Over Troubled Water and The Boxer (the latter being one of my own personal favourite songs). Both these tracks were released as singles along with Cecilia and El Condor Pasa (If I Could). Also including tracks like Baby Driver, Keep The Customer Satisfied, Bye Bye Love and The Only LivingBoy In New York, the album is almost like a ‘best of’.
