When @audible_uk announced the release of 1984 with the casting of Andrew Garfield, Tom Hardy, Cynthia Erivo, Andrew Scott etc I ran 🏃🏻♀️ to the app to download it!
This telling of the story was incredible. I’ve come across a lot of different forms of media for 1984, mostly stage performances from my drama days 🎭 but this, hands down, is the best. To hear a handful of my favourite actors embody the characters in the book just felt so wholesome and made me enjoy listening so much more. The pacing is incredible, the score, the sounds effects. 10/10 🐀 👏🏼 💫 📺
