Hi book lovers!
April went by in a blur but I didn’t quite manage to read as much as I would’ve liked. I only tackled two books, and here they are.
In the middle of my re-read of The Mortal Instruments series I read Scarred by Emily McIntire. I have to say, I liked Hooked better. I am not super familiar with Hamlet so it is possible a lot of details went over my head, but overall I found it a bit flat and slow, especially in the beginning. The spice, however, was top notch.
I then went back to City of Glass and honestly I loved the interactions between the characters and how much they grow and overcome their limits. I will continue with my re-read of this series, but not straight away.
