Our high school group is designed to help teens who would like to learn anxiety reduction skills in an interactive, experiential setting through art, games and sandtray. The groups are small, registration is limited to 6 participants. Teens will be able to create, learn and grow in a safe, judgement free environment. Group meets for 6 consecutive Thursdays (skipping July 4th) starting June 20th for 90 minutes each week. Each week will focus on teaching a new skills through a hands-on, art, games and sandtray activities. No prior experience required and no boring lectures! Group is led by Valery Hidalgo, Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern. Group is open to any teens in high school up to age 17 who are interested in learning how to reduce anxiety, find their voice and build healthy life-skills.
