Well after winning this tournament last year, I expected a little better result than a T59. Unfortunately Jason just struggled to string together consistent golf besides Thursday. He made too many bogeys and a double on one of the easier courses on tour. Certainly a disappointing result, but he has an elevated event next week, which he has been playing well in. The stats show that that irons continue to be a liability. He needs to get those figured out as the schedule heats up. I think it is crazy that we live in a golf world where -9 is T59😂 Certainly shows how good these guys have become and continue to become. Moving onward to next week, as mentioned above, there is another signature event. This time the Wells Fargo Championship at Quail Hollow. Jason will return to the Wells Fargo, a tournament he won in 2018. This is a PGA Championship style course.
