🧭 We are about to wander and get living (not lost)! This summer we are taking advantage of unforseen circumstances and seizing the day! Follow our journey next month as we take the leap to explore the UK, Spain, & Portugal as a family! I'd be lying if I said I wasn't completely overwhelmed. Taking young kids (2 & 6) on long international trips is daunting enough but coordinating all our medical equipment, meds, and translating medical docs when each country/airline/train/you name it has its own policy is making my head spin. And one more truck has joined the flock! I saved this sweet 1990 Chevrolet short bed, V8, 2 wheel drive truck from a certain untimely demise. After some normal maintenance and sacrificial parts replacement… It’s now running and driving under its own power! And I even got the original stereo to work and was able to tune it to a ‘throwback’ radio station for the maiden voyage. In coming times there will be massaging and buffing. But for now I am enjoying driving a really well looked after, low mile truck from 1990. Comedian Julia Johns was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2022, and amid the challenges of her double mastectomy, chemotherapy and radiation therapy, she found solace in writing and performing comedy about it. She found humor in cancer, and set out to make other people see it too. In her one-woman show, she takes the audience on her journey from finding a lump to survivorship, and everything in between, all while poking fun at her experience.
