It’s time for a little bit of a story that isn’t really as story and more an anecdote. One of the songs that my parents liked to play on the stereo when I was growing up was Bob Marley’s Buffalo Soldier, a song that came out two years after his passing. That’s all for that. I knew who Bob Marley was since a young age. I enjoyed Bob Marley’s music since a young age. I grew up listening to a song by one of his sons at the start of every episode of Arthur. It wasn’t going to take me too long to watch a Bob Marley biopic after it came out. Bob Marley: One Love wasn’t the best biopic. It had good performances and a great soundtrack. That’s what you get with those actors and Bob Marley music. Other than that, though, there wasn’t much to the movie. It was a retelling of Bob Marley’s international fame without making a real story arc. I’d say that Bob Marley: One Love isn’t something you need to see. You could just listen to his music and be set for a good time. Bob Marley One Love feels both empty and void of anything interesting to say. It’s hollow and has no weight or gravitas to the story, feeling more like a movie that started halfway through without any context. There’s no denying Bob Marley is an incredible musician and although I’m not a diehard fan there’s no denying his talent and influence - I have nothing against Bob, I just found this film to be really flat and often kind of boring, I never felt really invested. The cast were all good though I felt Lashana Lynch as Rita Marley I felt didn’t really get much to do, her character often felt really underwritten. It’s a shame, this could have been really compelling but just didn’t not work. 4 let’s get togethers/10

Some survived but are still being hunted. Some of the few led by Wolverine and aging Professor X and Magneto, seek refuge in secret areas. A group of mutants consisting of Bishop, Storm, Kitty Pryde and Colossus manage to escape with Kitty’s powers. They reach the Professor, Magneto and Logan and share a subtle moment of relief. Magneto though fears that the Sentinels will find them. Logan though fears the Master Mold will find them exclusively. They head inside of a monastery and agree to send one mutant back in time. Logan offers and plans to find the original team with a younger Charles in the year 2024 when the supposed assassination of Lawrence Trask caused this universe to exist. Logan agrees and lays down as Kitty prepares him. He closes his eyes and wakes up in early 2024, a couple days before the assassination. He heads out but battles a bunch of goons with his bone claws. He realizes he went back in time before the adamantium. He heads out as he takes the car the leader of the thugs owned and headed for the X-Mansion. Before arriving, the X-Mansion looks rundown as Scott and Jean left the team, Bobby took his own path and Warren went to help free Magneto. Only Charles and Hank remain as they try their best to find new mutants to join them. Logan arrived and knocked. Hank opened it but refused to let him in. Logan taking no for an answer barges in and warns Hank that he needs to speak with Charles. Hank gets angry and suddenly turns into a blue beast unbeknownst to Logan. He’s attacked but Logan tries to calm his old friend down. He throws Logan and tosses him but a voice says, “Enough, Hank.” A man in a scraggly beard, walks up struggling as asks why Logan is here. Logan admits what he’s about to say is crazy. He explains he’s from the future and he needs their help to stop an assassination.

🎬 The Marvels (2023) 🎬 Rating : 3.1 / 5 (meh/good) Overall : The Marvels isn’t awful, but isn’t much more than forgettable fun. Reivew : The Marvels received mixed reviews, with some critics panning it as terrible. However, it does showcase some creatively choreographed action sequences, with Iman Vellani's portrayal of Ms. Marvel shining brightly in every scene she graces. Despite these strengths, the film oscillates between moments that are forgettable and others that border on the downright goofy. While the teleportation and switching scenes initially felt refreshing, the narrative quickly reverts to the overused trope of saving the universe from a clichéd antagonist with sky beams. The Marvels also suffers from the burden of an overly expanded Marvel universe, as characters from various Marvel shows make appearances without much context or development. This lack of character depth is exacerbated by a lackluster script that fails to engage the audience. Even the return of Nick Fury, who is typically a significant presence in the MCU, feels more like a comedic sidekick than a formidable force. Não se tratava de meu cantor favorito, a epóca o #BobMarley não era uma referência de revolução, mas sim de #maconheiros e pessoas que não trabalhavam, motivo este que não participava de meu círculo social, que era bem rigoroso!!! Mas vamos ao filme, a produção é boa, deram uma visão de mocinho para referenciar os conflitos na #jamaica durante a #GuerraFria em #URSS e #eua para dominar a região. O cara definitivamente é um talento, cria uma música apenas ao ver uma situação, cria um album e seus shows baseado na capa do disco de filme (Êxodos). Porém achei o ator principal muito fraco durante a exibição, mas nos minutos finais comparando ele com o Bob Marley, ainda bem que colocar um cara afeiçoado!!!
