And yes, the ganache kind of resembles the poop emoji, doesn't it? 💩 With a previous batch of macarons, I got an uneven rise on my second tray only. So, I convinced myself that the culprit was the resting time – I thought perhaps I let the macarons rest too long, leading to the uneven results. With this batch, I shortened the resting time, hoping to achieve those perfect, uniform shells. However, much to my dismay, my efforts didn't yield the desired outcome. This set of macarons STILL came out unevenly risen. The first two trays were uneven but the third tray was not. Truth be told, I'm feeling a bit disappointed that they baked unevenly when I thought I had figured it out. 😔 I had hoped to create a stunning cube cake centerpiece for my birthday. 💔 Despite the setback, I'm determined to make the best of it and will still attempt to assemble to cube cake.
