She’s arrived, and she’s surprisingly heavy. Proud to have beaten Sundance TV and AMC Networks to the Gold (with the “help” of four incredible comedic actresses #SATC). But most of all I’m excited to win in a category that proudly flaunts its weird outsider label: “Salon des Refusés” - a category rewarding marketing campaings considered too controversial or too explicit to be shown on TV (sorry, Samantha!). The name stems from an art exhibition held in 1863 in Paris for those artists whose works had been refused by the jury of the official Salon (which incidentally featured one of my favourite painings, The Symphony in White by James Whistler). Exactly 7 years ago today at @promax_global European conference in 🇬🇧 with my running mate @danixagram! We decided to stay a little longer and move to a hotel in Soho. What we didn’t know what that the city was under construction, extending the tube right next to our hotel! 😩 Our room was literally shaking everyday when we were trying to sleep completely jet-lagged.
