Another member of our Team is Jen Peebles! Artistic Associate and Actor As a child, Jennifer Peebles (she/her) could never answer the question ‘what do you want to be when you grow up?’ First, she wasn’t sure if she even wanted to grow up and second if she had to grow up, she could never decide what it was she wanted to be more; a teacher or an actor. So she did both. Her passion for interactive children’s theatre is rivaled only by her love of the use of theatre and non-traditional teaching techniques in the classroom. She has performed and taught in and out of classrooms for thousands of children around the world including Italy, Prague, United Arab Emirates and China. Currently based out of Edmonton, Alberta, Jennifer is an Artistic Associate of Kompany Family Theatre, the High School Curator for Nextfest, the author of a chapter in a soon to be published book "Weaving Hope Through our Education system," and Mom to a most delightful four-year-old. She is still trying very hard not to grow up.

Thêm một mùa giải đầy cảm xúc nữa đã đi qua. Năm nay thú thực ban đầu không nhiều người trong chúng ta dám nghĩ đến viễn cảnh Arsenal có thể đua được đến vòng 38. Bởi những gì xảy ra ở mùa giải trước thực sự ám ảnh - dẫn đầu tới vòng 33 mà vẫn bị lật kèo... Năm nay đội bóng đã rút ra được những bài học từ mùa giải trước, thi đấu thực dụng và cũng hiệu quả hơn. I had an AVM (Arteriovenous Malformation) in my brain. It all started with really bad headaches, I became dizzy; seeing bright colors hurt me and my vision was blurry and really bad. I was in so much pain. My headaches came randomly and took a while to go away. The doctors decided that I needed three surgeries in total--two embolizations and my craniotomy--which took place on Aug 1st 2023, and they removed my giant AVM. I did not want to stay at the hospital, but I did it for the people I love. I also understood it was the best way to go back home to my dog, Cookie. I was lucky I survived my AVM. If you have a really bad headache, or one of your body parts hurt out of nowhere, don’t be scared. Go to the hospital for a quick checkup. It can save your life! It is only rare until it happens to you! Never give up!
