It's been an awesome 4 weeks at YWAM. I'm learning a lot about how to live a lifestyle of praying and learning to listen for the voice of God. We had an incredible 🔥 time on outreach when 3 unplanned baptisms happened! In the bus 🚌, we prayed for God to show us who we needed to go up to. I got a picture of the lake, felt that someone would be baptized and then I saw a very tall, muscular guy whom I mistook for being an islander🏝. And so I thought we were looking for this big islander guy who was going to be baptized. In the end, it was a guy from one of the visiting DTS's. He fit the description in everything except he wasn't an islander. That night he decided to surrender his life to Jesus and be baptized🕊. Another student decided to be baptized as he'd only recently re-dedicated his life to the Lord. The team had met a guy on the beach and after he he witnessed the baptisms, he was crying. So the guys shared the gospel with him and he to was baptized! 🕊 🔥 The harvest is ripe and ready for the gospel! Go and share Jesus with someone today! 🙏 #untilallhaveheard #ywamorlando

“When I was thirteen, I needed to use crutches because of having a Knee Deformity. A few years later, after I turned seventeen, I was diagnosed with a rare type of Peripheral Neuropathy: a sensory overload in the nervous system. To make matters worse, my left wrist was destroyed from using my crutches throughout grad school. Ever since then, I’ve been using a wheelchair. During the Campus Phase of my DTS, my school leader told me that I couldn’t go on an overseas outreach - none of the countries YWAM Orlando was sending teams to would accommodate my wheelchair. The idea of not going overseas for outreach was frustrating. Then God reminded me of the importance of living out the hands and feet of Jesus anywhere - even if my outreach would be serving in the USA. But God had different plans. One of the DTS teams was going to Nepal for outreach - but their location switched to Muizenberg in Cape Town, South Africa. They made this change because Muizenberg could accommodate my wheelchair - and that meant I could go on an overseas outreach. I was overjoyed! I went to Muizenberg for mission work while using my wheelchair. During outreach, I’d heard some testimonies from the people I’d ministered to. Their stories matter just as mine does. Whether they have a disability or not, God deeply loves all people. I’m amazed that I got to live out my own experiences as a missionary. Celebrate Loren’s Cunningham Legacy at YWAM Orlando Loren Cunningham created a mission that tremendously impacted my life. I didn't become a Christian until I was almost 20 years old. At that time I wanted to attend two different Bible schools, neither of which found me acceptable. But YWAM, founded by Loren Cunningham, was willing to take me on as a diamond in the rough and opened up an opportunity for Bible school and training for which I’ll be forever grateful. In the early years of my time in YWAM I had a few encounters with Loren that were very meaningful. Later, when we began to pursue the purchase of the YWAM Orlando property, I reached out to Loren for his wisdom and his investment in my life and the vision of YWAM Orlando became increasingly intentional. He gladly came to the campus in 2008 and gave me advice from that day on, until he recently went to be with the Lord. Between visits, text messages, and a myriad of phone conversations often lasting 30-60 minutes, he became a significant spiritual father in my life. In these conversations he would often unpack powerful vision for our mission. I'm so grateful for his investment in my life, and in the lives of our community here at YWAM Orlando. I also recognize that YWAM Orlando is just one of many many locations around the world that he poured his life into. What a legacy. We will miss him greatly. My life was changed when as a 18 year year old, I hopped on a plane, headed to the Middle East and started my first Youth With A Mission school. Doin good over here! Time is both slow and passing quickly. I spent last week continuing to recover and get over the effects of my post-op steroids 🙄 -i don't care how strong they make me, I hate them. Just kidding. I know they don't work like that. Lol. Nate spent last week teaching young people in a Bible School program run by #YWAMOrlando. The school is designed to teach its students how to study the Bible then to guide them through that process. Funny enough, he will actually be teaching there again in April on another subject. This time he taught on the Old Testament books Joshua- I & II Samuel and said it went really well. He had a great group of students who were engaging, that always makes a notable difference! Please pray for Nate this week as well. The kids and I spent the weekend with him then shipped him off to Texas where he will be teaching a new group of students about Apologetics, Biblical Christian Worldview, and Christian life. That all includes a lot of information and entails a lot of personal responsibility, please pray for Nate and his students, that their hearts would be transformed by the reality and goodness of Jesus through Nate this week! When he gets back, we will figure the weekend here in Florida then drive back to Texas. I just wanted to hop on and give a quick update. I still don't have the results of my biopsy. I have a two week post-op appointment on Wednesday in Miami, I'm assuming they will have those results there. I'm not expecting bad news, we will just see what we get! TANZANIA || 2023 This January I’ll be traveling with my team leaders Hans Fitschen and Krisette Polka to Tanzania Africa along with some of our DTS students we’ll have been walking with for 3 months. @ywamorlando has been sending teams to Tanzania ever since 2020. Up until that point it hasn’t been on our radar and it’s been one of the locations that as we return to every time we see God move powerfully. Our heart is to continue to return to these same areas to disciple and help strengthen the local churches. To travel to new places and share with those who have never heard the name of Jesus. God has already been so good and provided so much already!! I just want to say thank you so much to everyone who has supported me during this school and even during my dts!! So how much is everything? I started off needing a little over 13,000 dollars for both SOMD (school of ministry development) & SOW (school of worship). Here’s a little life update!! So I officially finished my second week of SOMD (school of ministry development). This week we learned about the price/cost of revival. The price is what you do to obtain it and the cost is what you do to maintain it. Its just like our relationship with God he can save us but we still have to spend time with him and continue to build that relationship!! We have to maintain our relationship with him after we’ve obtain it. It’s easier for God to pick us up when we are falling towards him instead of running away from him. I’m so excited to see how God is going to grow me and use me in this season of my life. First of all I just want to say thank you to everyone who supported me during my first semester at YWAM Orlando, both financially and with prayer. I graduated from my DTS (discipleship training school) in March 2022. These last five months have been amazing to say the least. I've grown in my relationship with God and learned how to serve others well. It was such an honor and a privilege to go to Mexico, serve the people and tell them how much God loves them there. Since I arrived back home, I have been praying about what's next. I feel like God is calling me to go back to YWAM (youth with a mission) next semester. The base has offered me a special deal to not just attend one school but two! I will be leaving on April 2 to go back to Florida. I will be attending SOMD (school of ministry development) and then will follow up with SOW (school of worship) and finish with another outreach to the nations. I will be gone a total of 8 months this time. If you have a heart to partner with me during my SOMD and SOW school I would be so grateful. It is an honor for me to go out into the nations to tell others about Jesus and what He has done for us. I still need to raise a total of $11,000. So how can you help?
