Reposted from @alliemikennareads Thought I’d share a couple quick poetry reads today since I’m getting back into reading poetry - thanks to the publishers @flyonthewall_poetry and @andrewsmcmeel for the gifted copies! Both these poetry collections are quick but reflective reads. My favorite poem in The Sound Of The Earth Singing To Herself by Ricky Ray was “So Tired Any Rest Is Grace.” I had a couple favorites in Be(loved) by Dakota Adan - “Wild Heart” and “To My Next Love.” Both collections are a little different style-wise from the poetry I usually read, but I was glad to have a change of pace in both.
